Garrett Duke got a reaction from Hobie Hartkins in NASCAR news
I heard that tires were an issue at Bristol. Which is frustrating for everyone and it affects the driver's season and points. As someone pointed out that I saw...what if this were a Chase race or an elimination race and it all came down to tires? I really miss the old way of racing where it was about talent and the drivers and teams. I feel NASCAR has to put it's hands on everything now to take away from the driving and the mechanics...the Chase and the segments for example. Let it be about the racing as it use to be...

Garrett Duke reacted to Val in I'm a little stuck here …
This is what I wrote while waiting for someone to come back to their car. I am stuck on the here comes chaos part. Both Rosco and Cletus are in the holding cell with the door shut. This is where the Duke boys “bail” Ponch and Jon out of jail.
“You ok cousin?” asked Jon “Yeah it's my ribs,” said Ponch. “Can he put his right arm down? He broke his ribs a few months ago” Jon said to Deputy Cletus.
“Uh, Jon you mean most of my bones.” Poncherello retorted as they walked into the station's booking area where Bo and Luke were paying their “Speeding” ticket that Rosco gave them. [Here comes Chaos] They are runnin’ out the door and split up Jon and Bo in Jon's truck and Luke and Ponch in the General Lee. Bo said “Hi, Cooter” “Hey Cooter, the usual OK,” said Luke “OK Luke,” Cooter said with a smile knowing what he was going to find there.

A-Team goes to Hazzard. I pity the fool who wouldn't like that combo.

Oooh I like CHiPs too. That's a great cross over idea. You could probably start your own thread on this section of the forum for it, I would think. That way it won't get lost?

Too dark for me, is there a way to light them up?

Good question. Mine shows up as a dark blue background with white letters. I like it because forums that have white backgrounds are tougher on my eyes.

So irritating and sad. I have a lot of apartment drama myself at my apartment. It's the worse. Especially when you lose good neighbors out of it.

Thanks Garrett. I was in Virginia Fri-Sun so was out of the loop. I still don't even know how the dirt bike races went. I have them recorded.

Well I am failing Chase Elliott and all of you as I have yet to watch a race on TV, though do keep track throughout the race from the NASCAR app and through my fantasy drivers that I pick every week. I don't know what my problem is...back with Gordon and Johnson I never missed a race and if I had to...it was a big deal and was disappointed about missing it. Now I can't get myself to sit down and watch the race. Though I do like it. Just not the same as it use to be, I guess. I went grocery shopping instead. HA.
Chase Elliott did lead a lap or two...just not the lap that matters the most. HA. I checked in the first stage and at the time he was first. Then again, I looked at his position in the third stage and he was 30th. Luckily he didn't end there, either. He came home eighth. So a top ten. . .which I will take. Hopefully a top five next week.
It looks like Kyle Larson spun out as well as Kyle Busch.
It's Bristol Baby...as Darrell Waltrip use to say.
I love Bristol. It's my favorite track/race. I've been there for Dukefest a couple of times.
Anyway, Denny Hamlin walked away with the win.

I took the trash out yesterday and seen the maintenance guy took everything down, his bird feeders, yard decorations, shepherd hooks, heck even his patio table umbrella. His was the nicest looking flower bed space with all the little light house and other lake inspired decorations along with his feeders.
Our next door neighbor told us today she found a place and is moving next weekend . I don't blame her as this is BS. I'm sure she won't be the only one breaking their lease and moving out.

I just returned home from south of the Mason Dixon line (barely)...Winchester Virginia.....home of Patsy Cline. What a historic town. Went back and forth on which side they were on in the war. You sure see a lot more Confederate flags down there. Folks there are smarter than us Yankees. They know the Confederate flag represents Southern pride and not racism. If my roots weren't so deep I'd move South. I'm definitely southern at heart.
