You are correct Petraq. That is the movie that Dukes of Hazzard was based on. It is nice to have you here on the HazzardNet. We hope to hear a lot more from you. Do you watch a lot of Dukes episodes? 

The earlier the episide was made the better....in general that is. There are exceptions, Happy Birthday General Lee was one of my favorites. I am not a fan of anything after 1985. 

My wife had rotator cuff surgery yesterday. Between that and our new puppy I have come out of retirement and taken on a new job as a caretaker. I love this job! I slept good last night. I think I was just nervous about her surgery. She's not out of the woods yet. Infection and blood clots are always a concern. This was the first surgery she's ever had.

You need to concentrate on relaxing. Start with your  feet and concentrate on having them get heavier and heavier and more and more relaxed, until you couldn't move them even if you wanted. Then work up to your lower legs and do the same thing and  then just keep moving up your body. Eventually you'll be working on making your head heavy and  relaxed and then......you're asleep!

We got a few inches of snow here....pretty unusual since it is starting to get so green outside. I've been having a lot of trouble sleeping lately. Anybody have any tips for me? I lay down at night and tell myself "I bet I'll have trouble sleeping tonight" and sure enough I do. It's just like when you tell a kid not to spill something you put the thought in their head and they spill it.

Well, we had a wet start to the race in Italy today, and it produced some great driving and a few crashes (admittedly not many by NASCAR standards!). Hamilton made a rare mistake, but made an impressive recovery to finish second and with the fastest lap.

While I've got the thread diverted to F1, it was announced earlier today that the Austin Grand Prix will be joined by a new race in Miami in 2022 to give the US two grands prix next year. The 3.36 mile circuit will be around the stadium of the Miami Dolphins - more info here.

It looked like an exciting race from the short highlight video I seen on youtube. Unfortunately F1 has lousy tv coverage here in the states with ESPN. Local ABC channel had infomercials on yesterday so they could have easily re-aired the race on a channel everyone can get.
On a related note Romain Grosjean finished 10th in his Indycar debut at Barber. He was in the top 5 for quite a while. Jimmy Johnson didn't fare as well he finished 19th. 
Alex Bowman stole a win at Richmond yesterday taking the lead after a late race restart and holding off Denny Hamlin. Denny Hamlin and Martin Truex jr dominated the race. Martin Truex jr had a pit road penalty but was able to finish in 5th place.

It may not have been the most popular episode of DOH but it always got people talking. The actor who wore the alien suit on Strange Visitor to Hazzard has died. His name was Felix Silla and he was 84. He was best known as Cousin ITT on Addams Family. 

Looks like 23XI racing might expand to a second car next year. Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan are looking to build a new shop that can hold a 2 or 3 car team.
Dale Earnhardt jr might start a cup team if the finances look right with the next gen car. 
Jeff Burton's son Harrison will make his cup debut at Talladega with Gaunt bros. Racing in the #96 Toyota.

I'm feeling better now. It definitely feels good to unplug occasionally in these crazy times. Our new puppy is doing great. After about 24 hours she felt right at home. We're even making progress on potty training. It's been 20 years since we've done that. Spring is definitely here.
