RogerDuke reacted to Boss JD Hogg in Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
This Christmas my wife and I are having a Turkey dinner. I guess it'll be another 'Dukes' style Christmas. In the Great Santa Claus Chase they had a Turkey dinner so I guess we're getting closer. lol

We took the decorations down a few days ago. One of the cats likes to chew on the artificial tree branches and he throws them up. We had enough of that.

RogerDuke reacted to Skipper Duke in Favorite Dukes of Hazzard Quotes
(Season 5 Vance's Lady)
Vance:"What's he blowin' about?" Coy:"Looks like he's had one to many fer the road!" Vance:"What's he tryin' to do? He's gonna drive us off the road." Waylon Jennings:"Now from the look on Jenny's pretty face, I figure she knows who the driver is, and the fact that she ain't sayin' nothin' ain't good."

RogerDuke reacted to Johnnie69lee in RC General Lee 1:18 scale and 1:10 scale
I was about 3 years old when The Dukes of Hazzard first aired on TV and when I saw the General Lee, it was love at first sight. So, when I started building RC cars, I I was definitely going to make me a General Lee and I've made 4 of them so far. My latest build is the best one. I used the Kyosho 1970 Dodge Charger body and put correct looking and correct scale size decals on it. I've also got the ESS dual sound simulator on it with the 1969 Charger engine sound and of course, the Dixie horn.

That's fine. I just wanted to show off my RC General Lees and chat about them.

RogerDuke got a reaction from Hobie Hartkins in What I'm Doing Right Now!
Out of reactions. They always did a terrible job with Jesse's stunt double. I get that it might have been tough to get someone who looked like him but I wonder how they messed his hair up so badly. You would think that replicating hair would be relatively easy.

That reminds me of the old country song..."I ain't never had too much fun!"
You are correct. It is humanly impossible to get too much Dukes of Hazzard. The old saying "too much of a good thing" doesn't apply to Dukes.

RogerDuke got a reaction from Skipper Duke in BEER
I'm not sure what the alcohol content is of my favorite drink is but it must be pretty high. I put a quart of vinegar, a quart of buttermilk, a quart of apple cider, and a quart of strawberry ice cream soup in a glass jug, shake it up good, put it on the porch in the sun for 3 months. And it's cool to watch. The color of it changes 5 times in those 3 months. I'll bring some to the Moonshine 400 for you folks to sample. I'm going to be competing with Hobie's Finest.
BTW, ice cream soup is from Pee Wee Herman. It's melted ice cream. It's easy to make. Here's the recipe. 1) Take ice cream out of freezer. 2) Put in big bowl 3) Add no other ingredients 4) Wait until ice cream melts.

RogerDuke reacted to Burl Tolliver in Dear Diary Blooper
Anybody else notice in "Dear Diary" that when Doc Appleby comes to bandage up Uncle Jesse's ankle that it's actually Doc Petticord? I guess at that point, they had changed the character but not the actor yet.

It wasn't Doc Petticord, but it looked a bit like him.
Pat (Patrick) Crenshaw played Doc Petticord in 'Double Sting' (season 1), but his character was only named "Doctor" in 'And in This Corner, Luke Duke' (season 3) .
Parley Baer started playing Doc Appleby in 'Coltrane vs. Duke' near the start of season 4, but then didn't appear again until 'Too Many Roscos' near the start of season 6.
In 'Dear Diary' (near the end of season 4), Doc Appleby was played by a different actor, Elmore Vincent. This was his only appearance in Dukes and one of only 29 acting credits between 1956 and 1983.

Of course I will. At the moment am still struggling to find the decals. And after a fiasco in ebay, i am weary of ordering again from a trader. That's why I was asking for printable files.
