Yes, that was another similar Jeep. You can also see dark brown Jeep Wagoneers in 'Witness for the Persecution' and 'And in This Corner, Luke Duke'. In the latter, you actually get to see the Wagoneer badge close-up when Luke is being kidnapped, which is unusual product placement for the show.

From season 3, the end credits included "Some vehicles supplied by AMC". They owned Jeep at the time, so the Wagoneers were probably just supplied to promote the model. I've spotted a few differences: there were at least three different wheel designs, there are two different shapes for the wood trim on the sides, and at least one of them had a chrome bull guard, so I'm now doubting that it was the same vehicle. It's just strange that they were always the same color when they were driven by different characters, so there was no need for continuity.

Yeah. It don't make sense for the Jeeps to look similar when different characters drive it in different episodes.

Yeah normally they put tape over the vehicle brand names. Like they did to the Plymouth Patrol cars and Luke and Catfish Lee's Everlast boxing gloves had tape on the name. Gilligan's Island did this with Alan Hale Jr.'s Lancaster Uniform Cap Co. Skipper hats. The interiors are lined with Gold Silk Satin Sateen and say Lancaster Brand ASK THE MAN WHO WEARS ONE

In Gilligan's Island, these interiors were just the Gold Silk Satin Sateen lined in plastic film no writing.

Thank you Roger for putting this and reminding me. I remember years ago I went to a car show an hour or so away from where I live, because Jimmie (Rosc0) and Ben Jones (Cooter) was there. It was around this time of year. I was in line to see Ben Jones when I remembered Jimmie's birthday and I went and wished him a happy birthday. His whole face lit up. Made my day and is something I will always remember. 

I never got to meet him but he did send me his pic and autograph, along with Flash's autograph!  He sent it to me when I bought  his tape with him and sorrel fishing on his yacht.  Sorrel wasn't used to fishing and being on the water and got sick and leaned over the boat!  

Seeing as NASCAR likes dry tracks, I thought y'all might like to see a wet qualifying session in F1 (squeezed into 7 minutes). It's not unusual to get bad weather at the Belgian Grand Prix, but it's meant to be fine for tomorrow's race. Despite the rain, there wasn't a single spin or crash during qualifying, and only a few slides. You can watch here.

Spoiler alert: Max Verstappen was easily quickest, and took pole position, but he'll start from 11th after a 10-place grid penalty for exceeding his engine allowance. That promotes Ferrari's Charles Leclerc to a surprise pole position with Max's team mate Sergio Perez having a better session to start in second. Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) and Lando Norris (McLaren) start third and fourth.

I haven't been here in awhile.  Life happens and so I quit my job and started my own business.  Anyway just recently I was told of a museum close to where I live that was like the Boars Nest. Literally 20 minutes from my house out a little 2 lane road was this awesome spectacle.  It is Cooters garage from the California episodes and it is very much tv accurate. To the RH side he has built a screen accurate Boars Nest and when I say it is screen accurate I mean down to the original juke box and pinball machine. Boss's office has the pool table and the big sword fish on the wall. I can't figure out how to post pics on here since I'm just not great with that kinda stuff but I got a clip of the inside of the Boars Nest and several pics of the outside right down to the red Hoggoco gas pumps out front. The guy has a daisy jeep and a patrol car. The general lee is in the paint shop and he also has a Cadillac and a wrecker in the works too. It's hard to explain in words just how awesome this place looks but it is really cool

Hello fellow Hazzardites! Right now, I'm enjoying a few adult beverages  and watching  James Best  on The Killer Shrews !  ( 1959)  This is pretty good! Has any one here in Hazzard seen this? What did you think?

For the past 19 years, I've wished Jimmie a happy birthday. There were some years when I'd send him the latest first person shooter video game and we'd play. Those were good times. It's very strange... it doesn't seem like he's really gone and I guess, in a way, he isn't. He's on my tv nearly every week and I have plenty of great memories. 
 
Happy Birthday, Jimmie. We miss you.

Pro dirt bikes for me. Followed by NASCAR and then sport bikes like Moto GP. F1 is awesome but there is only so much time in the day. In fact, all road and track racing is awesome. If it has wheels, people in Hazzard wanna race it....or at least wanna watch it race.  

Sorry we missed it. Belated Happy birthday. Looks like Rosco is coming up soon with a BD.
