  1. It looks like the cheaper sedans have been selling for under $35k (some for even less) over the last couple of years, but the convertibles are considerably more.

As Roger said, stay in touch and stop by to say "hello" every now and then. Remember, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy!

  7. Me too Hobie. All I have ever had is vehicles that my wife handed down after beating them for over a decade. Her latest vehicle topped the $30,000 mark. If she loses the key it costs $600 to replace. You can buy an entire car for less than that in Hobie's used car lot....as long as you like red. If you ask me, I'd rather have a car than just a key but she's put up with for these many years, she deserves something nice and reliable.

  8. That's exactly what I just paid for my new dirt bike....after dealer costs, taxes, etc. Maybe Hoss can post a picture for me. It is a 2023 Kawasaki KLX 300. It is not the SM version and is green, not the gray camo version.

  9. I can't afford it either, but it seems cheap for such an iconic classic car. You'd find it difficult to get a 1969 Dodge Charger for that money, and I found a couple of General Lee replicas on sale for $75k-$80k.

The 2023 F1 season finally starts this weekend with the Bahrain Grand Prix, and the big news is that Lewis Hamilton will be allowed to wear his nose studs in the car despite a jewelry ban. OK, there are bigger stories, but that still got a mention. The Red Bulls of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez looked quick in the practice sessions, but it was Fernando Alonso in his first race for Aston Martin who headed the second practice this afternoon. Whether that translates into a good starting position will be determined in tomorrow's qualifying. Mercedes seem to be starting the season off the pace again, but we'll find out on Sunday.

Such a bummer about Chase Elliott. Will make this season much less exciting.

One news story before I leave I guess. Looks like Josh Berry will be filling in this weekend for Chase Elliott at Las Vegas as Chase Elliott has suffered a leg injury during snow boarding in Colorado and has had surgery on it on Friday. I am beyond heart broken. Sad. Upset. And will boycot the race. Hopefully Alex Bowman or William Byron will win now. https://www.nascar.com/news-media/2023/03/03/chase-elliott-to-miss-las-vegas-race-due-to-leg-injury/

Am glad to see F1 season is starting for you Hoss. I hope that your team and your drivers will have a great first race and a great season. On that note, I am taking a break from HNet. I need to focus on my schooling and on life. I hope someone better will be able to do the NASCAR reports for you all. I am honored I was able to do them when I was able to. I am a quiet person and don't talk much...but do love talking NASCAR. Best of luck to you all. PS: GO CHASE ELLIOTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
