April Scott stars as the new Daisy Duke in the direct-to-DVD movie, “Dukes of Hazzard – The Beginning.” In this version of Daisy, we’ll see the lovely Miss Duke transform herself from a geeky, awkward wall flower to a knock-em-dead vixen.

Sexy? You decide! Boys, if you like your women lean, then this Daisy Duke gives you more ribs to count than Jessica Simpson did. Oh, did we mention the shorts are even shorter, and lower? Have a look:

The DVD release date for “Dukes of Hazzard – The Beginning” is sometime in early 2007. We’ll let you know the exact date soon. But for those of you hoping for a return to more traditional Dukes, be forewarned; this latest version is not likely to be family-oriented. An “R” rating is expected.

Howdy y’all! Okay, it’s the beginning of November but let’s face it, things move fast this time of year. But to kick off some holiday cheer, HNet’s issuing a Fanfic Challenge! Write a holiday themed fic and submit here to be posted in our fanfic section! Instead of having a due date and posting all the stories at once, we’ll be taking submission throughout November and December. The last day we’ll accept fics will be December 23rd, 2006.
