I'd say this is during filming of season 6 or 7 looking at Cathy's face and clothes.

I don't know. I think "Daisy" is older here. In the last series she was less "uncovered" (long sleeves shirts and long jeans) but I think this picture is after the show eneded, some years after. She gained some weight and her face is a bit older than in the show. Or I think so.

Look'ee here!

I wonder if the person who drew this had ever seen what Bo and Luke look like, or were they just described over the phone. On another issue, I never understood why all the models of Cooter's tow truck have an all red rear section. The inside was red, but the outside was mainly white.

I forgot which episode it was but I believe it is the one where they try to kill Boss in order to get his county.

It was 'Witness for the Persecution' from season 2 that originally aired in the US on November 16, 1979. The two-part Dallas that aired the same night was from season 3, and imaginatively titled 'Mastectomy'.

They don't really look like Bo and Luke no.The Cooter's truck seems to back the back of a firetruck when you look at it for the first time.

I've been looking at the USC Digital Library recently, viewing some fascinating pictures of Los Angeles. As well as photos, there's also a load of archived copies of the Daily Trojan newspaper, so I thought I'd search for Dukes related stuff (spurred on by Roth's TV guide listings). All of the following images are from the USC Digital Library.

1981 Nielsen ratings (I had to rearrange the layout on this one):

Rick Hurst takes some time off to answer students' questions:

Tom Wopat sings! You can put me down for tickets for a couple of the other shows as well :):

Preview of the second TV movie with mention of the NAACP protests. Sadly, no one told them that Sorrell passed away six years earlier:

Doesn't really look like a behind the scenes picture when you first look at it, but I posted a picture before with her in these clothes and with John Schneider.

From luke's Love Story, looks as if daisy just kicked the guy on the rightas he has fallen.

I believe Cathy wore these red clothes in Road Pirates but i'm not sure.

There is no episode information sothere is no way of telling from when it was beside the time of 9 pm.

Unusual 'of' used in 'The Dukes of Hazzard'.

I wish I could see this. :( Alice isn't sold her in the Netherlands. The episode is called 'Mel Is Hogg-Tied'.

There's a short thread about the show here in the Sorrell Booke section. Sadly, the YouTube links no longer work - I'll keep an eye out for working links.

Cooter's Garage is actually off to the left of these shots. These pictures were both taken from outside the house on the corner of Hazzard Square (sometimes used as a boarding house), roughly where the white pickup is in the picture below:

Here's a shot from 'The Ghost of General Lee' that shows how the courthouse looks from Cooter's:

After visiting the number two location on my list of places to visit and going home from vacation the day after I just didn't have time to update this topic. :-?

Looking at the car i'd say this is from filming of '10 Million Dollar Sherriff'.

9428987094_a3214e8ac0_o.jpg

What is he driving? a Go-cart or a tractor? I've got no clue beside that its quite high of the ground for a go-cart.

9426220871_2c76103fb8_o.jpg

How do you call it what John is doing here? Here in the Netherlands we call it 'touwtje springen', translated to english this would be 'small rope jumping'. I don't think that's translated right.

I think it might be a publicity shot on an old car ride at a theme park. The one below is at Gilroy Gardens - it's not exactly the same, but it gives you an idea of what I mean. If you look over John's shoulder there appears to be another car behind and a track between the two cars.

It could've been shot when they filmed 'Lulu's Gone Away' at Six Flags Magic Mountain. I can only find the tiny picture below on their site:

I'd call it skipping. In British English he's using a skipping rope, in US English it's a jump rope. Get two people swinging two ropes between them and another person jumping and it's called Double Dutch :).

BTW. I agree with you about the Rolls Royce from '10 Million Dollar Sheriff'.

Yup, it was the Hockenheimring. the Old circuit is my favorite, This is how it used to look like pre 2002. I'm a Huge F1 fan.

Thanks Hoss, thats a very good possibility. I never thought it could be one of those things as here in the Netherlands they are always Model T Ford's or stone age cars.

Thanks Hoss. Why does the english language have so much 'dutch' in it's language?
