ever notice?

Has anyone else realized that Enos is the only regular Hazzard county lawman who isn't related to Boss Hogg in some fashion? Rosco is his brother-in-law and Cletus is his cousin. Even one of the Rosco clones (Hughie) was Boss's nephew.

We suspect that Enos got his job before Rosco went corrupt or else they wouldn't have hired him, and after Rosco got greedy, they couldn't fire him since he was too well liked. Hence why he was promoted in that one episode and wore that really ugly brown suit.

WOW, reading all of everyones' post tells me that you all sure know a lot about the show. I gotta get the collection so I can watch all the old episodes all over again. It seems like I cant remember much of small details like the ones you all describe because its been so long. I need a refresher! CMT has been airing the re-runs so I've been trying to watch those in the mean time but havent gotten into the groove of the TV schedule yet. I'm gonna start collecting the DVD's as soon as I can. :D

We found out that Enos called the Sherriff by his first name in "Swamp Molly" when he asks him about one of the codes.

Rosco: I want you to head over to zebra sector.

Enos: Is that Mill Pond Rosco?

Rosco: ENOS! Will you please use the military code!?

I think there was another episode where he calls him Rosco, but forgot which one it was.

Okay, we have another "ever notice" moment with Enos (we do love Enos so much...a little too much). Anyhow, does anyone else notice that in every episode in which Enos's name appears in the title (ie. Enos in Trouble, Enos's Last Chance, etc.) he gets fired. Every time. If the episode is about Enos for whatever reason, he loses his job. We don't remember if he gets fired in Enos and Daisy's Wedding, but find it highly likely as he does get arrested in that one. Has anyone else caught onto this trend?
