I thought I'd complete the loop, but never realized how well it would fit. Roger, it turns out that Charlie Elliott is the name of a wildlife park. Not only is it in Georgia, it's not far from Mill Pond Road. Added to that, they have an astronomy blog - it's like the place was made for you!

Roger's new favorite wildlife park: Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center, Mansfield, GA. :)

My favorite person who is able to find the most amazing facts. He's either a computer genius or some kind of techno-wizard or both: HossC.

I wonder how my wife will take it when I tell her we're moving to Georgia. I'm just going to blame Hoss.

Waylon Jennings has a song called Clyde...."Clyde played electric bass. Played it with finesse and grace. Sat on the porch, ain't got no shoes. Pickin' the bass and singing the blues."

I love tough hypothetical situations Garrett but that one isn't so tough. I would root for the Steelers to win 59-58. That would mean Chase had a great game and could blame it on a Bear's defense that was so bad even RogerDuke could have busted through them.

I love Waylon Jennings...my cat's name is Waylon.

Great answer Roger and that would be a great game, but you got the scores mixed around.  And the Bears got one of the best defense in their devision now that they got Kahil Mack with Prince Amukamara and the rest. No one gets through  Mack...but I'd like to watch you play against them.  But maybe Roger could get through them...definitely not the Steelers. ;)

I'd have to borrow a tank to get through them.....or maybe the armored personel carrier on "Follow That Still". Did anybody in your fantasy league have Derrick Henry last night Garrett? Sorry, back to NASCAR. I'm getting off subject.

I dont know if they had Derrick Henry or not...I'll have to check.

Talking about fantasy sports and NASCAR...you want to join my league next year? Anyone? ;)

Just checked...my cousin has Derrick Henry 9n her team.  He have a good game last night?

Thursday night he had 4 TDs and 238 yards. That included a 99 yard TD run. In standard leagues that totaled 47 points, the most for any player this year. Hopefully for her, she did not have him on her bench. Hopefully for her opponent, she did have him on her bench. Can you imagine how frustrating it would have been for owners who benched him? He was only projected to get 7 fantasy points. He wasn't even owned in either of my leagues. If you're sticking around for awhile maybe we should start an NFL thread.

Wow ..he had a great night! And so did those who started him.

NFL league thread would be fun. Not as much as NASCAR, but still fun. Especially when the Bears win the Super Bowl.  I just read the Bears have four players leading votes for the pro bowl.  Kahil Mack has 400,000 more votes in his position.  They havent had a player in the Pro bowl for a few years now. But then again when they go to the Super bowl that wont matter. It's the thought that counts. ;)

Only 76 more days until Daytona 500. Luckily my Bears are doing good this year, so it's been helping my NASCAR  withdrawals.  But still...76 long days away...

Every time I use the ATM at the bank to get cash, I have to press the "Withdrawal" button, and at this time of the year it always reminds me of Garrett waiting for the NASCAR season to start ;).

Great comparison, Hoss. At least with the ATM withdrawal you get money out of it. Only thing I get with my NASCAR  withdrawal  is that every day that passes, is a day closer to Daytona. ;)

So I do got a couple of NASCAR  news tho. Jamie McMurray will join the FOX team of announcers for the races as he is stepping away from the number 1 car.

Don't know how newsworthy this is, but Rick Hendrick has noted that he has pegged Jeff Gordon to replace him of team ownership of Hendrick Motorsports when he steps down. Hendrick says that wont be anytime soon tho. Gordon already has a minority ownership in  Hendrick Motorsports as he owns over half of Jimmie Johnson's car.

Way out of left field a new team snatched up Furniture Row's charter https://nascar.nbcsports.com/2018/12/04/new-owners-purchase-furniture-row-racings-charter/ I thought one of the other teams would have snagged that charter up.

Not much other news in the Monster Cup silly season though it will probably heat back up in January.

Well if anyone is wondering...

There is SIXTY LONG DAYS until the Daytona 500. Now that Christmas has come and went...it cant get here quick enough.

I guess until then I will enjoy my Bears playing in the post season with fingers crossed that they make it to the Superbowl.  (After Jimmie Johnson rough 2018 season...I think I deserve the Bears winning the Superbowl.  ;) )

I think we should all pull together and sponsor him. If we put in enough money we could probably get rights to paint and number the car. It would be cool to see an orange O1 car racing with HAZZARDNET painted on all four fenders. I suspect they won't let us do a Conferederate Flag though. Seriousely though, how expensive can it be? I'll give 20 dollars. Anybody else in?
