I guess the stuntmen liked tail happy driving rather than a 4 wheel drift in such a short wheelbase SUV.The GL was jacked up with airshocks,and turning up the torsion bars.Cooter said "Airshocks in the back and expanders in the front".Yea,expanders if it had coil springs.That would have been Nova/Malibu "bad guy" territory there.
