  1. Ya'll are so @#$%! negitive about this, your looking at it completely the wrong way. The 1969 Dodge Charger can never be REPLACED, REMOLDED, OR REDESIGNED!!! I LOVE, ADORE, ADMIRE, and DROOL over the old Chargers... but this IS 2005 people. No one can bring back the old Chargers, but we can atleast give the new car a chance. The 2006 car in the picture above is a sleek and very beautiful car, its kinda like a rip off of the Dodge Viper. An the Dodge Viper was a very very famous car when it first came out. I believe that the Dodge and Chrysler markers are not TRYING to make a Charger that looks like or represents the old Chargers at all. After all they know that they can't replace a car that was a vise of profection and high quility. But what they can do is recreat a whole NEW idea for the NEXT generation of Charger. Im only 18, I would love to live my next 10 years watching this generation of Muscle cars come out. So what if there not cloning the old. Com on people, open your eyes widen your horizon to a new eara, the past can not be replaced, or redesigned. Im all for the 2006 Charger, its new, its different and I'll stand behind it all the way. Give the new generation a chance.... ~Chet
  2. Scott... How do you know thats why they painted the General Lee's like that. Dont get me wrong Im not calling you a lier but how do you know? The storyline sounds very interesting, an im interested to find out more about it before going to see the new movie. Especially since I heard what John Schneider had to say about the rough draft he read. He liked it! So Im very curious, I will be going to see the movie and probably buy it when it comes out. I think its gonna be cool (nothing can take the place of the old Dukes, but this modern day thing is going to be fun) an worth taking a look at an enjoying. ~Chet
  3. Welcome to Hazzard!!! Hope you enjoy it all. ~Chet
  4. I didnt forget L.B. I like him. Does anyone know where the guy who played L.B. is today? Or even what his name was? ~Chet
  5. This is a guess and only my opinion. But possibly this "Different" General Lee was used for images that were ment to be edited by a computer. An in that case computers often automatically make things look differently an that cant be helped. So maybe they made this General Lee look different so that it would appear in its proper form when edited on a computer or different devise. Just a thought, but very intersting picture. Thank you for sharing. ~Chet
  6. Just as Brian peeked the steps and entered the booking room, one of the goons darted behind him an ran down the steps to check on the jails hostages. The goon drew his gun a slowed his walk down the stairs, if someone was loose there’d be no chance of them taking him by surprise. Razor perked his ears still laying on the seller floor of the jail house, his wounded leg throbbed him, but the flood flow had stopped and his energy was slowly seeping back into his body. He could hear someone coming down the steps, it wasn’t Brian he knew by the sound of the shoes on the steps, who ever it was had heavy sneaker or running shoes on. Groaning and wincing the tiger pushed himself to his feet, he glanced at MaryAnne but said nothing, he was grateful to her for what she’d done for him. He took a couple of steps towards the door where Ethan, Viki, Bo, Luke and Cooter were standing. Suddenly the goon appeared and struck Ethan who scrambled to get out of the way on the side of the head with the butt end of his gun. Before Ethan hit the ground senseless Razor sprang at his attacker, his leg ached him but he was furious and enraged at these men for what they had done to his friends. His huge jaws snapped at the goons face and his claws dug an clamped tightly to his clothing an flesh. In seconds, by sheer brute strength Razor bore the goon to the floor. His powerful mouth seeking the flesh of the mans throat. The goon screamed as the tiger collided with him an threw him to the ground, now it was a battle for his life against a blood thirsty animal whos three inch canine teeth were now only inches from his face. The goon wished that he had shot the tiger in the skull earlier that evening when he had the chance. Face twisted in grimace, his arms shook as he clutched the thick neck of the huge animal, its entire weight bore down on him. The goon knew that his arms couldn’t hold the tigers teeth away from his neck much longer, he swallowed in fear feeling the animals muscles rippled. Razor suddenly shifted his weight forward and it proved to be too much for the treacherous goon, his hands slipped and the tigers jaws claimed there target. Deep crimson spread onto the floor around the goons head an his body soon went still. The battle was over, an Razor proved to be the victor. He released the dead mans throat an raised his head, his legs an other wounds ached him bad and for a few long moments he could do no more then lay on the floor panting. Fresh blood smear his mouth and stained his teeth an tongue that hung out as he panted. “Is Ethan alright?†Razor asked licking his jaws an straitening out his bad leg. “Someone may have heard this pirates scream, we best be careful.†(Cue Anyone. Sorry about the violence.)
  7. Pssssst... Meadow the door on the car gets jammed so ya got to climb through the window. I promise I'll get it fixed one of these days, I've got the new door handle just no time to put it on. 8) ~Chet
  8. Yeah an uh... Jack Danials had me occupied. *grins* ~Chet
  9. I must admit, it would be very cool to see these cars race and see who would win. But i also kinda think that it would be wrong to race them, they were each a great car in there own day. I think racing the three would be like racing Seabiscuit and War Admiral all over again during the depression. They were two fantastic race horses who came from the same king of sires.(Man O' War) They never should have faced off.... ~Chet
  10. What would Uncle Jesse think if you he heard ya'll syaing this? Dasy is right, give this new movie a chance, sure I agree it aint gonna be like the old Dukes, an thats becasue nothing can replace the old Dukes. But give it a chance it might not be half bad. ~Chet
  11. Gratefull! *ROFLMAO* We were so happy we put the tail gate down an had a regular ol party to welcome them home! (Thats the behind the scenes thing that the episode didnt have time to show! LMAO) ~Chet
  12. WOW folks, got some really great songs here. Im glade I posted this topic. Heres another one of my favorites. Artist/Band: Black Clint Lyrics for Song: Desperado Lyrics for Album: The Greatest Hits Desperado Why don't you come to your senses Ben out ridin' fences, for so long now Oh, you're a hard one But I know that you got your reasons These things that are pleasin' you Can hurt you somehow Don't you draw the queen of diamonds boy She'll beat you if she's able You know the queen of hearts is always your best bet But it seems to me some fine things have been laid upon your table But you only want the ones you can't get Desperado Oh, you ain't gettin' no younger Your pain and your hunger, they're drivin' you home And freedom, oh freedom, well that's just some people talkin' Your prison is walkin' through this world all alone Don't your feet get cold in the wintertime The sky won't snow and the sun won't shine It's hard to tell the nighttime from the day And you're losin' all your highs and lows Ain't it funny how the feelin' goes away Desperado Why don't you come to your senses Come down from those fences, open the gate It may be rainin', but there's a rainbow above you You better let somebody love you, let somebody love you You better let somebody love you Before it's too late
  13. ( Sorry, I wish I could help you but Im not in your time line. Bo Duke is my father and I exist in the future not in the present. Bo is all grown up in my day. But if you ever wanna take a walk into the future, leme know I'd love to lend you a hand. ~Chet)
  14. Hey people! I thought it would be fun to post the lyrics of your favoorite song here. Or maybe its not your favorite song, maybe its the song that has a sentimental value or maybe it strongely represents who your are. Anything... anything at all. Please share the lyrics. One of my all time favorites is a song that to me means alot because its taught me never to underestimate what you may think is impossible. Artist/Band: Nichols Joe Lyrics for Song: The Impossible My dad chased monsters from the dark He checked underneath my bed An he could lift me with one arm Way up over top of his head He could loosen rusty bolts With a quick turn of his wrist He pulled splinters from his hand And never even flinched In thirteen years I'd never seen him cry But the day that grandpa died,I realized Unsinkable ships sink Unbreakable walls break Sometimes the things you think could never happen Happens just like that Unbendable steel bends If the fury of the wind is unstoppable I've learned to never underestimate The impossible And then there was my junior year Billy had a brand new car It was late, the road was wet I guess the curves was just too sharp I walked away without a scratch They brought the helicopter in And Billy couldn't feel his legs Said he'd never walk again But Billy said he would and his mom and daddy prayed And the day we graduated,he stood up to say: Unsinkable ships sink Unbreakable walls break Sometimes the things you think could never happen Happens just like that Unbendable steel bends If the fury of the wind is unstoppable I've learned to never underestimate The impossible So don't tell me that it's over Don't give up on you and me 'Cos there's no such thing as hopeless If you believe: Unsinkable ships sink Unbreakable walls break Sometimes the things you think could never happen Happens just like that Unbendable steel bends If the fury of the wind is unstoppable I've learned to never underestimate The impossible

  17. Your right it would leave Kitt in the dust... it would leave ALOT of cars in the dust. But with gas prices as high as they are right now, by the time this car ever gets around to actually existing.... Lawdy I just plain better plain on running the V-10 on something other then gasoline or racing fuel! ~Chet
  18. Wow... Brian an i have a common interest in a race care driver. Interesting... Im a fan of the Earnharts, but I aint so much a fan of Jr. I dont like the man himself, but his Father was the best. But since his fathers gone, I'd have to give Jeff Gordon alot of credit, I like him too. Thats is... when I get time between all the other things I do to following racing anymore. :-( ~Chet
  19. Hey JESSIE DUKE! You an I got alot of common music interests. Especially Garth Brooks. He may be retired, but hes like the General Lee, he'll always be a great of the greats. But im a big fan of the other artists too... I like Metelica and that kinda music and other country artsts. Waylon...Cash... there all good! ~Chet

  21. *Points to self* Im a Dodge lover... especially the charger of course. Stop by my site Charger an take a look around. www.geocities.com//generalleesghost01 My biggest dream for a charger would have to be to see a V-10 Dodge Charger with a blower. Or to simply see a 1970 Dodge Charger painted to look like my creation, the General Lee's Ghost. ~Chet
  22. The General Lee will always be the number one car in the world to me, an I think many people can chime in with me there. I mean General Lee is the king of kings when it comes down to cars. Twenty some years down the road he'll still be saluted, the only reason he aint number one is because he dont need to hog the spot light. Hes pulling forward for awhile, givin someone else a chance to own up to being great. But no matter how great another is... General Lee will always be as he has always been....01. ~Chet
  23. Welcome to Hazzardnet Charger, hope you enjoy your stay. ~Chet
  24. Chet leaned forward hugging his body close to his skitish horse as the explosion shocked the ground. With a defening squeal two of the outlaw packs horses and men fell victom to the great blast of the explosion. The remaing riders standing battled to keep there terror stricken horses under control as they burst into fear stricken bucking sprees. Caught off gaurde by his horses sudden bucking another one of the packs riders crashed to the ground with a bone racking thud, his terrified horse shying away from him. Taking advantage of the remaining three riders dazed moment, Chet holstered his gun and kicked his horse as hard as possible. He burst out of his hidden place, the big Thoroughbred let out at a full charge as Chet steared him the direction that the fleaing deputy had gone. Faster an faster he urged the speeding Red streak of horse flesh on, never looking back to see if the outlaw pack had regained its composure. (Cue anyone)
  25. A glance over his shoulder confirmed Chet's fear, the group of unwelcoming outlaws were still riding hard on there tail. It was becoming more and more obvious that no matter how fast they ran or where they might find to take some cover and fight back that these guys more then likely weren't about to back down. Chet rode up beside MaryAnne, seeing her look over her shoulder breifly despite his warning not to. An idea suddenly struck him, he bent over an reached into his saddle bag an drew out a stick of dinimite. "DON"T STOP NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS!!!!" Chet shouted and suddenly drew Red to an unwilling halt. Furiously the horse tossed his head and reared, his front hooves kicking up dirt as they came back down on the ground. Chet quickly took a match from his pocket, his horse standing steady for the moment, he scratched the match across his gun and put the flame to the fuze of the explosive. In seconds sparks began to fly from the fuse as the flame crawled down it, the young Duke boy spun his horse around to face the nearing group of outlaws. Quickly he drew back his arm and threw the stick of dinimite as hard as possibly, the lit explosive landing in the path of the riders. Chet loosened his forceful hold on Red's reins and turned the horse away from the lit candle and galloped him hard for 40 yards then stopped and turned back to face them once again. He drew his gun an waited, as soon as the explosive took its tole he would gun down the surviving varmits. An no matter what it would take not a one would get near the deputy, Chet thought to himself watching as the riders drew closer and closer to the candle on the ground. Even if it ment his life, not one of these men would indanger the deputies life as long as oxygen still existed in the Dukes lungs. (Cue anyone.)
