MAKE UP YOUR OWN MIND AND GO SEE THE MOVIE!!! The reviewers didnt like the show either and we are still talking about it today!!!

I feel the same way. I have said it in other posts but it was a GREAT movie. For all those people out there trashing the movie and not seeing it....I feel sorry for you!! Go back and watch the first couple of episodes and tell me any BIG diffrence. There's not!! Cussing, Sex talk, hell in one episode there was a traveling sex motor home!!!! Come on people, WAKE UP!!!!! This movie was very entertaining with great stunts and fast action.

Yall need to go see the movie and stop asking questions that are explained in the movie.....Stop listening to what other people are saying and go see it....You might actualy like it!!!!

I was an extra the same time you were and had a blast. It was a lot of fun watching what all goes into putting a movie together. I also so myself on the big screen a couple of times. Just something for some people who are intrested in seeing the movie. The orginal series, when it started back in the 70's, got horrible reviews and the big wigs HATED the show. Needless to say we are still talking about and loving the saw that is The Dukes of Hazzard 30 years later!!!

I noticed that on the movies home page, under the video section, there is a download of the trailer for the new PSP system. I was wondering if anyone out there has tried to download it and if it worked? I have tried it many diffrent times and can not get it to work!! If anyone out there can help let me know!!! Thanks!!!

They had a total of 32 cars. When they started the film that had about 3 or 4 at each filming location. I know that they had 3 hero cars. Hero cars are the ones that look the best inside and out and are used for the main shots with the actors. They had many other stunt cars that were modified. Some of them even had a special pedal on the floorboard that the stunt driver could press. This locks up the back tires and the stunt driver can go into a slide easier. I had a chacne to watch many diffrent scenes and see the cars up close and it was awesome. They looked great and the trailer looks great.

They pushed the movie back so they dont have to compete against their own movie, Batman, and so they dont have to go up against Star Wars. They look at it as which date will bring in the most money. I think it was a good move by the company. If it was up agaist Star Wars it would lose b\c of the star wars following nad the movie being in sequels. By pushing the movie back a couple of dates it will draw bigger attendance numbers and thats what leads to sequels.

I worked on teh set as an extra for a couple of weeks and asked about purchasing one of the generals. The guys basiclly told me hell no. They said they would be holding on to the cars for a year to see if there might be a sequal and if they did sell them then the starting price would be over 50, 000 dollars b\c they refurbished a lot of the cars.
