  1. Well ya gotta be good for it to be green. If it's red, you're in trouble. LOL

    I believe it is now green.... amazing how that does that. Khee! Looks like you're on a distinguished road there, dukefan. :D

    Ahahah MaryAnne, I finally got my Greeny box.:) Yay!!!! As Garrett would say..lol

  2. I didn't know that Johnny Cash sang a song about The General but good to know, I'll have to find it. Thanks dukefan!

    You are welcome Texasdaisy, when and if I can I will try to post a video of it, but you can search it by typing, "The GeneraL lee Johnny Cash utube" and you should see the song.

    I tried to yesterday, but could not find the video I have , but I will keep trying.:)

  3. In any case, here is the lyrics to the song.:p

    I'm a charger that charges through the night,

    Like an orange bolt of lightning passing everything in sight.

    I'm the best pal that you boys ever had,

    I'm thunder on the highway lookin' bad, bad, bad.

    I'm a knight, like the kind in shining armor,

    With my polished body gleaming, I'm a fighter and a charmer.

    If trouble comes your way just ask for me,

    My Friends all know me as the General Lee.

    I'm the Gerneral Lee,

    A pistol pumpin', steel belted cavalry.

    I'll never let you down when you're riding with me;

    Buckle up and I'll show you what I mean.

    Take a look back there:

    Sirens blownin', red lights flashin' everywhere;

    We'll cross the fields and we'll be running free,

    They'll eat dust compliments of me:

    The General Lee

    I'm a hero, and that's how I'll make you feel

    When you're riding shotgun with me and the law is at your heels.

    I'm glory bound, but when the chase is done,

    I'll take off through the mountains and have fun, fun, fun.

    I've got style, tearing through the curves;

    Let my flag wave proudly to the people that I serve.

    I'm number one, and I will always be

    The pride of the South they call the General Lee.

    I'm the Gerneral Lee,

    A pistol pumpin', steel belted cavalry.

    I'll never let you down when you're riding with me;

    Buckle up and I'll show you what I mean.

    Take a look back there:

    Sirens blownin', red lights flashin' everywhere;

    I'll jump that pond and we'll be running free,

    And they'll go swimmin', compliments of me:

    The General Lee

    The General Lee

    General Lee

  4. S'fine, I listen t'people all the time lol.

    Just never say never okay? There was a time I said never and look what came around for me. Its just as rare that the Dukes cast come way over here, the time I saw them on the show was the first time they had appeared on tv since the show aired. I was soooo incredibly lucky then and even more lucky because I have Daisy as a friend who payed for a lot and my Dad who turned around and gave me the money to get to the states and to her. You never know what's around the corner, the Dukes wouldn't give up and they wouldn't let you either.

    I like that answer very much, thank you Bo, you're right, never give up.:)

  5. LOLS I know Roger I was just asking why it was unfair? I found a way around my financial problems by saving up and also finding another Duke fan I could go with, namley my best buddy :D

    Dukefan, I do know what that feels like because I felt it until I decided to do something about it.Try and figure ways around the cost of Dukesfest like I did, you've got a year between each one, put a little money aside every week and you'll be surprised with how much you can actually save up. If your that depressed about it, you can't just sit around and wait for them to come to you. They're busy, they've got a lot of fans to meet. Meet up with other Dukes fans on here, see about splitting the cost of hotel rooms and food between a group and the cost goes down. The Dukes found ways around money problems, there's nothing to say you can't try ;)

    I appreciate your kind words Bo, but it's not that simple for me, I barely get by , jobs are not plentiful and I can never save any money.

    I would love to go where there is a dukefest, but I could never go to the states, not just the cost of traveling, but where to stay when I get there??? Passport??

    I can barely rub 2 pennies together, and the last 3 yrs have been the worst for me, which is why I am close to a breakdown, so many things gone wrong, and I can't pick myself off the ground......

    Gee, you know what Bo? This is the first time I actually spilled my guts out....ooops...lol

  6. OMG, I will never find it, I remember it so well, and now seeing it is not in my list of threads I started, I just don't know if it was me or not???

    I know I started it someplace, where Daisy was kidnapped, and Enos turned around when he saw he was in danger and caught up with them. Enos was injured by these 2 guys and ended up in the hospital.

    Jed and his cousins Bo and Luke, got searching for Daisy, and jed Found her and took off back to Bo and luke(something like that:)

    The 2 guys, end up putting Daisy in the pick up and pushed it down a hill and so on....

    Where did that story go????

  7. I have a question about a story. I'm not sure if it's here or fanfiction.net I can't remember the whole thing, but in the later chapters, Cooter is sneaking around in a hospital and finds Enos, who's been in an accident chasing a car. They leave the hospital to find Daisy, who's been kidnapped, and end up out in the woods, where Daisy and Enos get together. I think Chickesaw is involved somewhere and bank robbers, but I'm just not sure. I've been looking thru the forums, but can't locate it. Thanks for any and all help. See ya'll

    I can help, I think that was one of mine, give me a few minutes and I will be right back.

  8. Why is that unfair? I dont come from the states, I come from England and made it to Dukesfest. I didn't meet the cousins there first either, I met them when they came over here to do a tv show and I saw an ad on here by the producers looking for people to be in the audience. You just have to keep your eyes open.

    I hear you BO, but last time I heard of any duke cast in Moncton New Brunswick, was back in the '80's , when Boss Hogg, Sorell Book, came to the collisium, I was still in school back then, and I could not go.

    Not once have I heard of any duke cast come this way, so I never met them, and sadly I will never get to meet any of them, which makes me so sad, because, Sorell and Denver are no longer with us.

    I will never meet any at all, and this depresses me more than you know Bo..:((((

  9. Well dukefan, since there's no money or prizes involved here and since us folks here in Hazzard County is a bunch of generous people, I'll give you those two points.

    I will probably be just as generous to anybody else in your boat if they ask.....And if anybody is critical of me for being so generous, I'll just hand them a map and show them where dukefan lives.

    I suppose I might get a complaint that other people have traveled a long ways to see DukesFest but if anybody has a problem with that, they can just send you a check to pay for all your expenses if there's a DukesFest (or similiar gathering) in 2010.

    lol, Roger, you're a kind man and a Very loved friend, thank you for being so good to me.:)

  10. I have to disagree with you two (even though I love ya both) That was one of my least liked episodes. I just couldn't stand seeing Luke being so mean. That was just a little too mean for me. I understand why he was doing it but I still didn't like it.

    yeah , but Roger, as much as it hurt to see luke being so mean, especially to uncle Jesse and his cooking, the thing I liked is, Uncle Jesse did not give up on luke, they stuck together to help luke in spite of his attitude.

    Proving once again , that family values is what the dukes stood for , and making this episode even more important in teaching such values.:)
