Just read on the Dukes-fest forum on this site that they have decided to shoot some new stuff for the begining of the film and have called back the cast and extras . Have a look at the post about it on the Duke-fest forum from one of the extras. Any news on this would be great?

When this movie started to film back in November 04. Alot of people on this web site said this film would be crap and that it would be a big flop at the cinema this summer. Now that they have seen the trailer they have said this film will be great. Who can you tell if you have not seen this film.

Jay said Willie Nelson is singing the theme tune. (The one that sounds the same as the tv theme tune from the tv show, not the rock one by cage 9. ) and that he is also the narretor. I think after seeing the trailer that he is re-doing the theme tune. I still could not be true.

Is this movie still coming out in the Uk on th 28th August. Where can I get this DVD that has clips of the new movie on it and that will play on a UK DVD or video player . When and where get I get a copy of the soundtrack in the uk from? Any other UK new on this film would be great.

We all know about the Dukes in the show Bo ,Jessie,Luke,Co,Vance and Daisy. What about the rest of the family? Did Jessie every Marry? Does Luke have any brothers or siters. What about Lukes perents? Anyone know?

I have just been looking at who the crew are on the Dukes movie and I see that they have used 3 diferent lots of people to write and touch up the script.. I see John Obrian is the same guy the makers of Staskey and Hutch got in to touch up the script for that movie. I just wonder why they needed to get so many diferent people in to write the script and why they did not ask one for the script writers from the tv show to help write the script? Also I wonder how diferent to script writen by Jonathan Davis is the the Brocken Lizard one?

I thought the trailer was great. They seem to have 2 new takes on the theme tune. The one that was done by Willie Nelson which sound just like the TV theme tune and a rock one,which I like. I think the new cast and crew have done well and if the film is as good as the trailer then it will be a big hit at the ciinema.

Lots of people on this site seem to think that they could do a better job at making the Dukes of Hzzard tv show into a film. The film is not yet out and only a few people have seen a ruf-cut of the film. How can you moan about a film that is not out for a few months yet and you have not seen it. How would you guys have made this film what would you have done. Who would you guys get to star in this film. Who would write this film. Who would direct it where would youy film it? It would be fun to find out.

I know I am. If you do not like the sound of this film do not post anything.

Lets all not moan about this film anymore. Yes the Dukes of Hazzard was a great show. I bet it will do well at the box office. I saw the show the other day for the first time in years and I still thought it was great, but things had to change I like what I have read so far about the film. You can't s make the film just like the tv show was it just would not work. Get over it guys. The A team,Dallas,Superman, James Bond , Pink Panther , Bewitched and Herbbie are all remakes of films tv shows being made or coming out this summer. If you do not like the sound of this new Dukes of Hazzard film do not go and see it. I think the cast will be great . Yes they could of got a better cast so what it is not the end of the world it is only a film. I hope the film will be great. I am really looking forward to it. Have you not got something better to do than moan bout this film. What we really want on this forum is more info on this film . Lets all give this film ago you never know you might like it.

Soory got some of the info wrong. the new Herbbie film is still the reason why they have pushed basck the Dukes movie. I said warners is making it wich is not true. Seems I only got my info half right.

Just found out that Willie Nelson is playing uncle Jessie and re-doing the theme tune and is the narator. I read this. is this true.

I just found out that the reason why the Dukes movie has been pushed back to August 5th. The reason is that Warner Brothers have made 2 car movies for this summer. The Dukes of Hazzard and a new Herbbie movie.. They have decided now to put out the Herbbie film first. Someone at Warners must have thought it was a better idea to do this.

James Bond is about to be played by a 6th actor. Lots of actors have played Robin Hood and Superman and Batman and they have all done well at the box office or on tv.. It is never the same when they mess around with tv shows and books or remake films. Lets all face it they have made a new Dukes of Hazzard for the cinema. Yes they could of got a better cast for this movie,but then I am quite happy with the cast they have got if it is not the best cast. Lets all give it a go and hope it is going to be a winner. We all know some tv shows they have made into films have not been great. I saw the tv show for the first time in years the other day and thought that they were right to change some things let hope the change is for the good. Can't wait to see this movie. Lets hope they have a good sound-track.

She was ment to be blond and they asked Cathy to where a blond wig but she said no and then they gave in and let her have dark hair.. So Daisy in this movie is how she should always have been .

Jack Polick is from Jackass the movie which I have not seen. Just thought I would let you know.

Just found out that it said Jack Polick is the actor playing Gletus. Do not know who he is or what films he has been in.

Just found out on another site that Cletus is in this movie. I looked at the cast list and it has him there forget who the actor playing him is. Is this true or not?

Hay. Has anyone got any new info or photos form this movie. I know a few people on this forum are extras in this film any strys tell? Anything new would be great.

I saw the cast list for this film the other day and Cletus Hogg,Cherif Little and Miss Tizdale are not on that list . Are they in the film? If so who is playing Them?. Cletus if the only one out of the 3 I would like to be in this film. Maybe he is and I missed that bit of info.

I see people do not like my choice of bands to do the theme song. What I ment was they need to get some big pop-rock act todo the theme song so the film will be better.

Why have they made Boss Hogg tall and thin in this film. I think Burt will be great as Boss Hogg but he is ment to be short and fat. They should have kept him short and fat.
