  1. That General Lee is from one of the DOH video games from a few years ago on the Playstation.
  2. The original model from the series said Daisy's Jeep CJ on the box and has Daisy written on the hood of the Jeep, so that is not a movie thing here. Here is a link to that kit for sale on ebay for anyone who doubts me: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=20908&item=5979032940&rd=1 The "new" kit is just the same kit from 25 yrs ago repackaged for the movie. Agreed that is cheap, but they didn't change it. The "new" General Lee kit has the flag on the top just like the original according to the picture on the box. Again it looks like a repackaged version of the original. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1192&item=5979833054&rd=1 Brian
  3. The movie coverage makes mention of Willie being the baladeer.
  4. It is a weekly show that they do about upcoming movie releases, and last week it was about summer movies.
  5. It was changed to something different a while back but I don't remember what is is. Never been to it. We always go Rocky River. Sorry for the thread hijack.
  6. Still there but a different name. It is now Cripple Creek.
  7. A different commercial aired about 10 min ago during the special. It had some of the same stuff from the trailer we have all seen with some new clips. Also Jessica and Willie performed their duet.
  8. EVeryone pleae reread the post by MarkVanWoert. It appears that a non duke fan tried to play a dirty joke on him. He has edited the post and apologized for the posting of his coworker under his name. MarkVanWoert wrote: Wow this could cause some damage. I hope this doesn't sound like back tracking, but I would like to apologize to each and everyone one of you for this. I made a big mistake by leaving my PC here at work open, waiting on a customer and then going home while still logged into Hazzard Net. With that mistake I left myself open for a mischievous co-worker who knows Im a professional writer, a HUGE Duke fan (hell Im restoring a 68 as the General Lee now!!) and he likes to egg me on by saying he hates the Dukes of Hazzard and claims the only time he ever saw a Dodge Charger was in his rear view mirror getting smaller. Anyway... no need to go into an elaborate excuse, I would just to give a very big SORRY!!! He really doesn't know how much he has effected any or what little creditability I had with you folks. I just hope you all can forgive my mistake and still let me show my face here. Again thanks and Im sorry.
  9. A new company bought the theater out and is making the upgrades. It is the one you are thinking about, and yes it would be AWESOME to see it at Badin. The drive in has also had some upgrades since it was sold a couple of years ago too. The guy that bought it is from Rockingham County and runs the drive in there. I went there for years before moving to Stanly Co.
  10. Hey Darrell, good to see ya back. The quicktime version is not fullscree but is widescreen and it is awesome. i am very excited. Especially since the theater in Albemarle now has stadium seating in it.
  11. The other car in One Armed Bandits is not talking about the roadrunner. Luke specifically asks Cooter when they see him where his car is and Cooter tells him that he used to to run Rosco off the road and then stole the patrol car.
  12. YEEEEHAAAA!!!!! Man that makes me wish it was August already. I can't wait to see this movie. I know some of that made Bo seem Stifler like with his jokes but it was funny as hell. That was Waylon's theme song playing during the trailer. And Oh how I love those shorts.
  13. Originally the TV show had the boys owning seperate cars. If you will recall in One Armed Bandits, Luke mentions how bad of an idea it was to loan Cooter his car as he used it to run Rosco off the road and steal his car.
  14. Gainey also played a bad guy in a dukes episode(forgot which one) where he ends up impersonating Roscoe.
  15. I agree with Scott. I have read all of these reviews and do not recall seeing anything about drug use.
  16. My wife says that I am obsessed with this movie because I am on this site alot. I can't wait for this movie to hit theaters. I will be right at the front of the line.
  17. Yeah, I saw the trailer but I was wondering where he got the info that they were postponing the Dukes because of Herbie.
  18. Herbie: Fully Loaded is set to be released by Walt Disney Pictures on June 24th. Warner Brothers is not affiliated with Herbie.
  19. Uncle Jessie is true. Willie was also quoted to say that he was doing a version of the theme song. He also told CMT that the baladeer had yet to be named.
  20. One of the specials that aired on CMT the weekend of the Dukes marathon talked with Willie and he mentioned that he was doing the theme song, and it was also mentioned that a balladeer had not been selected, YET.
  21. Chet the one you posted was also the '99 CONCEPT, i.e. not production car.
