  1. A slender form ran from a vehicle parked across from the courthouse, directly in front of the gazebo. Hail begin to pelt the black wrought iron fence that enclosed the Hazzard Square and everything else. The savage wind tossed brunette hair around. Hands came up to keep the tangling mess off the young woman’s face. Attire of a sleeveless tie blouse and jeans were thoroughly soaked before she was halfway across street to her destination… She shivered. BOOM! CRACK! Lightening zig zagged in the darkened greenish afternoon sky. Another thunderclap sounded from somewhere behind her. She froze in her tracks recognizing the tattletale sound of a tornado, a loud train like roar… Binoculars slipped off a strap from around her neck onto the ground as platform sandals hurried onto the doctor’s porch. The brunette woman turned to observe a large funnel coming toward the courthouse. She gasped. Her head turned and her eyes widened as lightening struck...
  2. *hug* We'll miss ya. Have fun, relax and try to enjoy your vacation inspite of the weather. 8) Take care, Daney
  3. Welcome to Hazzard, Renee. Good to have a new person here. =)
  4. “Why of course it will, sir.†The middle Duke girl grinned at the man who looked exactly like Rosco. “And thank you.†She paused. Brown green hazel eyes looked around the square. There was the Doc’s office where Daisy had gone. Min had gotten the signatures from the bank, and Daney had gotten the ones from the pool hall and auto parts store. A frown came to her face when she saw the bright orange X on the tree. It had been there for so long. She shook her head Daisy nudged her gently. She turned and looked at her older female cousin. “Sorry.†“It’s ok, cousin.†Daisy whispered and then looked at the man. “Can we help you find someone, sir?†She heard a familiar voice call out from across the square at that moment. A smile brightened her, Daney and Min's faces.
  5. Have a safe trip and take care of yourself, C.
  6. Even tho' a majority felt that was a good post, I was wrong in postin'. Take care y'all. Daney
  7. I haven't spoken on this yet because I feel responsible for how some of you feel you don't belong or were ignored. Yet, it isn't my job or anyone else's to make sure everyone is happy around here... we are all responsible for ourselves and actions wether author or character. There is a consequence for action… I’d like to run and hide, leave and never come back… I can’t. All any of us can do is try to do better. And not be selfish. I had alot more to say but sometimes its best to keep it simple. Respectfully, Daney
  8. I agree on seeing a General Lee beat up any rice car. I know it's wrong but it would be Hazzard and the Dukes rarely lost a race. And while there were many great vehicle choices, I cast my vote for Plymouth ala Daisy's Roadrunner/ Satelite and it would be nice to see a Duster. =)

  11. "You didn't miss nothin' except for some folks gettin' too serious and not havin' fun anymore," Daney winked at Rosco. "So if y'all will excuse me, I gotta get to an appointment." She grinned and ran out the door just seconds after the Deputy.
  12. Daney steps over without any words and gives MaryAnne and Brian a hug.
  13. Daney stops laughing and stands up straight. "Brian, are you so sure about that?" She tosses a tape recorder to Hilery with a wicked grin.
  14. Daney takes a quick picture of said look and the grin on MaryAnne's face. Then doubles over in laughter. Tears of relief streaming down own face.
  15. remembers what Uncle Jesse said once... You gotta give them city people the benefit of the doubt. It ain't right to take advantage of them just cause they don't know no better so just keep it simple. "MaryAnne, just keep it simple."
  16. Looks at MacGyver. "Brian won't mind. He loves being in tight spots."
  17. Looks from Brian to the Deputy. "MaryAnne, I got dynamite outside in Hunter's trunk. That could come in handy if you need to give yer cousin the second degree before you let him out."
  18. "Maybe he did, Brian." Softy hums a Dobie Gray tune while waiting for MaryAnne to answer.
  19. Daney glanced over her shoulder and smiled. "Val, nice of you to drop by. How have you been?" She turned and gave the Game Warden a hug. "Don't be shy, say hi to Brian. He doesn't bite," She whispered.
  20. Oh, I know what I am missin'. Daney thought to herself. A slender hand came up and touched her necklace. She glanced from Brian to Mac. She decided to ignore Mac's comment. Sounded like he was just as frustrated as everyone else. Her other hand reached out and held one of the bars tightly.
  21. While MaryAnne was waiting for Rosco to reply. Daney stepped over to the cell and stood in front of it. Hazel eyes looked respectfully. She whispered. "Brian, you'll get out before the next full moon hopefully." A shy smile came over her lips.
  22. Daney stepped close behind MaryAnne. She looked pass the Deputy at Brian. "You know that doesn't seem like a bad place for you to be." She muttered outloud.
  23. Daney stood in the shadows and watched nervously.
  24. "Double Damn, I'll second that." Daney agreed from where she stood frozen in her tracks at the sight of Rosco. Her hands reached up and wiped tears away. She had missed 'em too even if she hadn't shown it at times. "Rosco, it's good to have you back."
