I've never heard anybody complain about the label  roughneck. I wouldn't be surprised if it happens someday. Everybody gets so offended so easily now. I'm pretty sure the term came from oil rig workers. I'm not too far from where  The Valley That Changed The World is located. The world's first oil well is named Drake's Well and is a tourist attraction. But I think the term roughneck started in the Texas boom...could be wrong. Redneck came from coal miners. Pretty weird since they didn't get much sun. I believe it was to identify themselves in their gunfights when the labor disputes were going on.

I don't think people are really "offended", I think they like to say they are to draw attention to themselves.  It's really pathetic when you think about it.  It's like they are saying, "treat me differently since I am sensitive".  My response to that is, "move over cupcake, only the strong survive".

Y'all the Gilligan's Island Fan Club President William Duff of the Illinois division knew how bad I wanted the Fun World Gilligan's Island Skipper's Costume. He is a man of his word not a liar. He delivered the item as he promised he would! :)

    Congratulations!  I'm happy for you!

I have noticed in Season 1 One Armed Bandits, this bikini fit her perfectly. But in Season 4 Nothin' But the Truth, the bottom part of her right breast hung out from under the bottom of the bikini top. I'm probably NOT the ONLY male to catch this. Now, did she fill out more by Nothin' But the Truth, or was her right breast just slightly larger than the left one? What do y'all think?

I think one breast was slightly larger than the other or the top moved.  Or maybe they just wanted to make her look more enticing to the male audience.

I know what you mean Skipper. Society is making it politically incorrect to be a tough guy. This won't be good in the long run.

Something I learned about political correctness (I didn't capitalize it since it's so stupid), is that eventually it will collapse under the weight of its own ridiculousness.

Not really but it's easy to figure out why everybody else did. Here's one I bet folks can get. Who was my celebrity crush in 1976? I bet her poster sold more than Daisy's.

I remember the Farrah poster with her in the red top.  She was married to Lee Majors at the time.  He starred in the Six Million Dollar Man.  Talk about Power Couples at the time..wow.
