  1. Stuff like that does happen over here, never experienced anything like that myself but some of my friends have
  2. Never heard that story, I always have a quick look for the goofs on TV, but I don't look for them intentionally
  3. Same here, at least it's not rotting away, although it's not perfect, I suppose it's better for the environment
  4. Actually when I was young I did used to actually take points off a movie if it didn't have a car chase! , might go and watch the Lord Of The Rings films...
  5. No problem! , Lord Of The Rings is good, or so I've been told, I hope you enjoyed it
  6. I recall that 'fender bending' as I like to call it, has happened on a few occasions, can't remember which episode though...

    Only Fools and Horses

Yes, 'Tea for Three' is another good example, and 'Friday the 14th'. Here is also the chandelier scene:

    Only Fools and Horses

Oh yeah it did start in '81, my apologies, I was thinking of the microwave episode "May The Force Be With You"
  11. Hey y'all Here in the UK there is a great sitcom called 'Only Fools and Horses', it ran from 1983 to 1996 and there were sporadic Christmas specials to 2003, this is one of the two shows I've stood by all my life (the second being the Dukes), it never aired in the USA as far as I know, ABC tried a reboot for the US in 2012 but it got canned before production began, anyway I'll give you a basic summary, the show follows the life of market trader Del Boy (Del is slang in Britain for Derek) his younger brother Rodney and their Grandfather (although from Series 3 onwards their Uncle) who live in an apartment in Peckham, South London who often sell: stolen, faulty or just generally uninteresting goods, trying not to get caught by the law, who are as about as successful as Rosco, and in the run of the show they smash chandeliers worth over a million pounds, find doubles... which are mafia bosses and lean on flip top bars only to realize they are open (I'd recommend the falling through the bar scene, it's hilarious), If anyone wants to watch this show a couple of seasons are on Netflix or you can just enter 'Only Fools and Horses' into YouTube you will get a plethora of great clips. 10:4 Joe
  12. Hey y'all If the Dukes was made today how'd you think Rosco would fare with a License Plate Recognition System?, I believe he would be baffled by it, what do you think? 10:4 Joe
  13. Yeah, I think so, at least it's better than it was, it sat for about 4 years not running, in black with a pixel camo wrap on one of the front wings, I'd say turning it into a GL is an improvement
  14. It was mine as well, along with 'Robot P. Coltrane', my belief (like a lot of television show) the writers just run out of ideas, the Dukes is still an amazing show though

    Chase Music

Heard this before, quite good actually, really all this, along with the theme song needs to be all on one album, then just listen to it on loop in the car !
  16. Oh yeah! I remember that, Only Fools is another one of my favourite shows other than the Dukes, I've watched every episode of Only Fools and Horses, I recommend you check it out, a couple of the seasons are on Netflix along with a couple of the specials, and to answer Hoss' question, No, Only Fools and Horses never aired in the US, ABC tried to make an American reboot around the time this was posted but it was canned
  17. Hey y'all, Someone in my neighbourhood has converted their BMW M3 (mid-90s early 2000s I believe) to a General Lee homage, whoever has done it clearly hasn't watched the show that often because they've put a ton of fake rust on it, which the General never had, real or otherwise, anyway I thought everyone might want to know, 10:4 Joe
  18. Ok, I know it's one of the later episodes, what did everyone think about "Strange Visitor to Hazzard"?, if you haven't watched it, to cut a long story short an alien comes to Hazzard and Boss and Rosco want to use him/her (was never clear on that) as an attraction to bring tourists into Hazzard. Oh and two guys who are on the run for holding up a church bingo game try to take over Hazzard using the WHOGG radio station (I think that's the name...), anyway that's all from me, 10:4. Joe
  19. They still have the complete run on iTunes hope it's still on it's replacement that Apple just announced
  20. Yeah, it's very rare, maybe impossible, that a car gets off with no damage after a stunt
  21. Yes he did, well both of them are good shows compared to some of the new stuff has always been my belief, but he was a very good parent
  22. Hi all, Thank you so much for a warm welcome I should probably tell you more about my love of the show, well... My favourite character is Luke, favourite episode is "Duke vs Duke" and to show my love of the show I have a General Lee slot car that sits pride of place on my desk, thanks again for a warm welcome. Joe
  23. That was my reaction to all this, hope he "finds his footing" if you get what I mean
