Not much other news in the Monster Cup silly season though it will probably heat back up in January.

The last 24 hours have pretty much used up all my patience... Found out last night that the little Huey Hogg Weasel at the closest Best Buy sold me locked phones instead of unlocked ones last friday even though he assured me they were unlocked phones so now I have to return them since they are useless on any other network except at&t and to top it off I won't get the full refund because there is a 15% restocking fee on cell phones. Think I'll let the wife handle returning them cuz if I go in there I'm gonna be cussing up a storm. Don't know why i didn't just drive to the other one clear across town, the customer service at that one is a billion times better than the closest one. Today stayed home all day waiting for the maintenance guy to show up to install the new bathroom countertop, sink and faucet only for him to show up @ 3pm to tell me one of the other maintenance guys on call over the weekend used them at a different property so he has to order all new ones and I'll have to stay home another day in the next couple of weeks. Thank god the local PBS station aired a rerun of The Highwaymen Live @ Nassau Coliseum this afternoon otherwise I'd be tearing the place up and spitting nails.

Heard on the local news this morning that we've set a new record for November, cloudiest November on record, only 2 full days of sunshine from sunrise to sunset so far though we've had a few partly sunny days every week... and in the top 10 coldest Novembers on record. Hope December has a few more sunny days as long as we have a white Christmas.

I wish NBC wouldn't have lost F1 coverage they did such a better job broadcasting F1 then ESPN/ABC has this year.

Every organization goes thru ups and downs but it seems with Nascar and their downswings they think the only way to fix it is change the rules and some rules make the racing worse. 2019 might be the last year for Nascar Racing as we've known it for the past 60+ years. Another season is over and we have another new Champion in Joey Logano. Todd Gordon made some great changes to make that car a rocket for the end. Thought Kyle Larson would win the race but he didn't fare so well when the track changed. A lot of drivers ran their last race this weekend. Matt Kenseth stated he's not interested in driving next year and he finished his career on a high note with a 6th place finish yesterday. Jamie McMurray might race the Daytona 500 for CGR or might find a ride with a different team for next year. AJ Almendinger is moving onto sports car racing in IMSA since Ryan Preece is taking the reigns of the #47. Kurt Busch, Trevor Bayne and Daniel Suarez's plans are still up in the air for next season.

Well might have found out where the kittens are. Talked to the girl's mother who was helping her daughter move out Friday afternoon. Mother remembered the animal sanctuary where they dropped the kittens off. I contacted them through email and hopefully they haven't adopted the white one out yet. Turns out the scumbag boyfriend was abusing the girl, thank god she left him before it got worse. Her mother was happy she wasn't the only one that thought the boyfriend was a BLEEP, she told me that it was good to hear that her 'mother intuition' was still good. Hopefully the next guy she dates is a decent gentleman.

Funny thing is Viacom owns TVLand as well but TVLand is in a lot more households than CMT is so that's why TVLand jumped on the PC bandwagon. TVLand also took off The Cosby show after it came out that he was a sex predator and the 80's Roseanne reruns after her tweet last year.

Got our first measurable snow today just wish it didn't have sleet mixed in with it, roads are slicker than a wet day on Hazzard dirt roads. Don't look like I'm going to be able to get the wife that kitten for her birthday tomorrow, talked to the girl neighbor yesterday who took them to their foster home and she was an emotional mess. Apparently her and her boyfriend had a falling out or something and she's moving out. She forgot to call about the kitten and probably didn't do it yesterday after I talked with her for a bit, oh well. She's a sweet girl so I hope she finds someone that can treat her right instead of the bozo she was with, and that's about the nicest thing I can say about him without breaking the cuss rule lol.

For one thing CMT is owned by Viacom and Viacom is all about Ratings and Reality shows. I doubt it has anything to do with politics.

If a car passed pre race inspection how did it fail post race inspection. That would be neat Roger. Past 2 mornings I watched some scary DoH episodes while eating breakfast, Hazzardville Horror and Ghost of General Lee. Set decorators really outdid themselves on Hazzardville Horror, even I would be scared to walk into that spooky house.

I figured he would be, the dance he did last week was lousy, he was stiff and seemed 1 step behind his partner the whole dance and since they eliminate dancers by scores and votes from the previous week. Now this week's dance was his best and it's unfortunate that he was sent home. He should be proud, he lasted a lot longer than most 50+yr old men do on this show.

Yeah we're gonna adopt her if she's available. Just got to contact the foster person(s) and see if it's ready for adoption yet. Hopefully it's still available and would be ready to adopt around Nov.16th which is my wife's birthday and that cute little furball would make a great present and give the wife a good memory for her birthday as last year we had to put down our oldest cat on her birthday.

That was a good F1 race yesterday was hoping Vettel would win and keep the points battle going. Technically didn't happen 24 hrs ago but... I finally managed to catch some stray kittens Friday that someone dropped off in the parking lot a few days after Labor day. Woke one morning to find them all huddling on my patio with their mother. A month long of feeding them finally paid off Friday morning when all the remaining kittens went into our cat's carrier to eat and I quickly shut the door by pulling the string I tied to it, mother cat and one of the kittens disappeared a few weeks ago so I do not know what happened to them. Now they are off into a foster home until they are cleared for adoption. We might end up adopting the white one but we're not sure at the moment.

I heard on one of the morning news shows a while back that some smartphone apps monitor things you write and say during phone calls so be careful what app you put on your phones.
