  1. No, the PS1 game disc will not work in the PS4 and there are no Dukes of Hazzard games on the PlayStation Network. Your best bet Roger would be to find a good used PS1 and find a ps1 copy of the games on ebay, at the moment prices range from a few dollars for used discs to $33 for new never opened. There was also a ps2 DoH game however it does not have the original cast doing voice overs. If you have an old windows xp computer that still works good you could get a PC copy of the PS1 games. Retro gaming is becoming a big thing so a lot of places such as used video and record/CD stores are carrying old gaming consoles for sale so check those stores out in your area.
  2. I think some of the places Duel was filmed at were used in Dukes of Hazzard as well, other than that I don't know. Duel is a helluva good movie though. Love the look of the Peterbilt they used.

Jimmie Johnson interested in running all Indycar road and street courses next season https://www.jayski.com/2020/08/19/jimmie-johnson-interested-in-full-indycar-road-street-schedule-next-season/. Would be neat if he could race the #48.
  4. Hazzard Square was also Mayberry's town square. Denver Pyle played Briscoe Darling jr in Andy Griffith. James Best played Jim Lindsey aka the guitar player. That's just off the top of my head. I'm sure some of the older guest stars in DoH also did guest appearances on Andy Griffith show like Pat O'Malley from the Return of the Ridge Raiders(DoH) was in Up in Barney's Room(AGS), he was also in The Ghost and Mr Chicken.
  5. Heard on the local news this morning that the jingle the ice cream trucks have played for decades will be gone soon, someone apparently got offended by it . On a good note I seen a few Dukes seasons for sale at the nearby Walmart. They're slim plastic cases now instead of the thick cardboard ones so they should take up a lot less space on the shelf. They had a whole 1980's tv section there with DoH, A-team, Knight Rider, Miami Vice, Magnum PI, Quantam Leap etc...
  6. One of mine too, especially right now in this crazy time. Will be visiting some relatives out in the country for a labor day bbq, I'm looking forward to just sitting out there and enjoying the peace and quiet all day. One of my other favorite scene's is the end of the Christmas tree's episode where everybody is at the farm. Reminds me of the family holiday get together's at my grandparents house before they passed away. Everybody put their differences aside and had a good time. That's why it's one of my favorite episode's to pop in the DVD player in December.

Yeah he said in a recent interview that this might be his last best chance to win the Indy 500 since he would be returning to F1 next year. Kind of sad as I was looking forward to seeing him race in Indycar next season. Was hoping he would take a shot at the Daytona 500 too.

Chase Elliot won the inaugural Go Bowling 235 at Daytona's famous road course https://nascar.nbcsports.com/2020/08/16/chase-elliott-wins-daytona-road-course-race-denny-hamlin-martin-truex-jr/. He led 34 of 65 laps and at one point had over a 10 second lead over 2nd place Denny Hamlin before a late caution restacked the field. Martin Truex jr finished 3rd, Jimmie Johnson finished 4th and Chris Buescher finished 5th. Kaz Grala who was subbing for Austin Dillon after he tested positive for covid19 finished 7th. JJ Yeley had to retire early due to heat exhaustion so Bayley Currey finished the race in the #27. Kyle Busch finished 37th when mechanical issues caused him to wreck with 5 laps to go. This was his sixth 29th place or worse finish of the season which drops him to 10th place in points. Next weekend is a Dover double header Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Both will be on NBCSN. On a related note...Marco Andretti became the first Andretti to win the Indy 500 pole since grandfather Mario Andretti started on the pole for the 1987 Indy 500 https://motorsports.nbcsports.com/2020/08/16/indy-500-pole-position-marco-andretti-mario-indycar/. I wonder if the Andretti Indy curse will finally be vanquished next Sunday.
  10. I didn't even realize I did that when I posted hahaha. Surprised my phone's auto-correct didn't catch it . If you haven't upgraded your router in the last 5 years let me tell you it's worth getting a new one. Our old one, made in 2012 according to the sticker on the bottom, was having issues keeping up with all the tech connecting to the wifi so we got a new one from our ISP. What a difference, browsing the internet is faster, streaming doesn't intermittently pause to buffer and now I can watch hd Nascar race streams instead of having to watch 480p ones. Watching the last hour of the truck race stream yesterday in hd without any buffering pauses was great.
  11. I've had it with people telling us 'you guys got to move out of there' but are not willing to help us. Since it's been so long since they last rented they don't understand that some places want 2 months rent, or a few hundred dollars for a security deposit or a rental application. Then there's money for renting a moving truck. And we're trying to save money so we can put a larger down payment on a house so we can get better mortgage loan. If we move now we'd probably blow through everything we've saved so far. Of course we'll see if we still have a place to live this week, the wife contacted upper management about the issue here so we'll see if our lease renewal will be accepted or if we'll get booted out and they keep the troublemaker who doesn't even ''live'' here. I did hit an amazing hole in one at minigolf this morning. Found a regular golf ball off to the side of the 13th hole so I put it on the putting square and hit it, it bounced off the rock hazzard then the putting green wall and then bounced into the hole. I wish the wife would have recorded that because I'll probably never do that again lol.
  12. Moto Guzzi's are the easiest motorcycles to spot because of the way the V twin engine is positioned Transversely with the cylinders showing on the left and right side of the bikes from the front and rear view.
  13. The motorcycle in Miz Tisdale on the Lam is a Moto Guzzi, not 100% sure which model though. That's my 3rd favorite motorcycle brand behind Indian and Harley Davidson.

Biggest shock of the season (sarcasm) Christopher Bell to drive the JGR #20 Toyota next season https://nascar.nbcsports.com/2020/08/10/christopher-bell-to-drive-for-joe-gibbs-racing-in-2021/ Spire Motorsports bought LFR team charter, shop and inventory https://nascar.nbcsports.com/2020/08/11/nascar-spire-motorsports-confirms-purchase-leavine-family-racing/. Plans to expand to 2 cars for 2021 season. Spire Motorsports currently runs the #77 Chevrolet and was able to grab a victory last year with Justin Haley in a rain shortened Daytona race. Even though covid-19 has paused a lot of sports Nascar tv ratings are still taking a hit. The races for the past few weeks have set new least watched records that Nascar hasn't seen in 2 decades or more. Though Nascar cup races are still beating NHL and NBA games in tv ratings however PGA golf is kicking everybody's butts in tv ratings. This weekend's Nascar races at Daytona Road course will air on FS1(truck series) Sunday 12pm, NBCSN(Xfinity) Saturday 3pm and NBC(Cup series) Sunday 3pm.
  15. Wife and I went back to that estate sale from the weekend before and bought a few more jars and bottles. I grabbed all the remaining light blue Ball Mason jars. The wife grabbed a few more interesting liquor bottles and old syrup bottles. Some of the Mason jars I think had moonshine in them at one time, when we opened a couple of them they had a real strong odor . I seen a diy on turning Mason jars into light fixtures so that's my plan for a few of the jars, at least when or if we get a house. Troublemaker next door went on a screaming rant early yesterday morning about blowing somebody's brains out and just so happens one of the other neighbors was outside with her dog. She of course made a quick dash for her door. I doubt she will but I hope she called/calls and complains to the manager.

Kevin Harvick swept the doubleheader's at Michigan https://nascar.nbcsports.com/2020/08/09/nascar-kevin-harvick-completes-sweep-of-michigan-doubleheader/. This is Harvick's 55th cup series win which puts him at 11th on the all time win list. This was also the first time since 1971 that a driver won 2 back to back races in two days. Richard Petty was the driver to do it in 1971. Denny Hamlin finished 2nd, Martin Truex jr 3rd, Kyle Busch 4th and Joey Logano 5th. Erik Jones and Jimmie Johnson are still in danger of missing the playoffs unless either one of them wins a race in the next few weeks or the drivers ahead of them in points have a few bad finishes. Bubba Wallace confirms he's got offers from Richard Petty Motorsports and Chip Ganassi Racing for 2021 https://nascar.nbcsports.com/2020/08/09/bubba-wallace-says-he-has-offers-from-rpm-ganassi/

Kevin Harvick dominated the first of the Michigan doubleheader's winning both stages and the race. Brad Keselowski finished 2nd, Martin Truex jr 3rd, Ryan Blaney 4th and Kyle Busch traded paint to finish 5th. I hope this choosing lane gimmick dies at Michigan. What a joke it is. If you were running 3rd or 4th before the caution you could restart 6th or 8th if you choose the wrong lane .

Not a surprise, Erik Jones is getting the boot at JGR for Christopher Bell though it's not "official" yet https://nascar.nbcsports.com/2020/08/06/erik-jones-will-not-return-to-joe-gibbs-racing-after-2020/ Here's the rest of the 2020 Nascar season schedule https://nascar.nbcsports.com/2020/08/06/nascar-announces-remaining-2020-schedule-cup-xfinity-trucks/ Nascar introduces a new gimmick for the rest of the season https://nascar.nbcsports.com/2020/08/06/nascar-introducing-choose-rule-at-michigan-chase-elliott/
  19. Just once I would like something to go right this year, JUST ONCE, but apparently that's just too much to ask for! Some local Boss Hogg outbid us on a house yesterday, willing to pay cash on the barrel. Unfortunately that was our last, best chance to get out of this hole apartment this year since our lease is up in 3 1/2 weeks.

Jimmie Johnson now has a nature trail named after him https://www.jayski.com/2020/08/05/nature-trail-in-graves-family-campground-at-michigan-international-speedway-to-be-renamed-in-honor-of-7-time-champion-jimmie-johnson/ .
  21. It seems like the writer's were running out of reasons for Boss Hogg to screw the dukes over by season 4 as they used the Duke's mortgage in a lot of episodes.
  22. Think I read about that place in one of the Haunted Ohio volumes. The author mentions a few haunted places outside of Ohio. Ice Cream
