  1. So, Hoss you're still 21 right? Are you ever gonna grow up? No? Good, cuz we'd have ya no other way. Happy Birthday! Hope it was a great one!
  2. I'm thankful for my family and my HNet family, my cousins Mufn and Brian and for all y'all here. I'm thankful for the CBS executives who took the punches, literally, to put this lil' ol' show on the air back in 1979. Who knew? There's so much more I could put here, as the past year has really been something for Mufn, Brian and for myself, as we've each dealt with various challenges. And yet we've endured and like the old song goes, "we're carrying on like we did before..." So when I sit down at my family's table this year, we will have much to be thankful for. And at the HNet Thanksgiving table, there's still more to be thankful for. I wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving! "No longer forward nor behind I look in hope or fear; But, grateful, take the good I find, The best of now and here." -John Greenleaf Whittier-
  3. Oh that had to hurt! Take it easy Byron!
  4. The topic is presented as an FYI, Garrett, not as any approval, support or promotion of the parody on HNet's part. I think HNet staff has made their opinion on it pretty clear in this thread. We remain true to the original. If this stuff is out there than being aware of it (and thus you can bypass it and ignore it) is better than having stumble on it by accident such as Emy did. Poor Emy will be afraid to look in a bargain DVD bin the same way again! LOL
  5. I clicked the link and it's simply a bad remake of the opening credits of the Dukes only it's for this cheeseturd --er, I mean "hardcore" version. Trust me y'all, there's nothing in the clip that's any worse than what we saw in the '05 movie. That being said... that clip was awful! My condolences to whoever loaned them the General Lee for this thing tho'... I wonder if they really knew what they were contributing to.
  6. I agree as well, it was Cooter's birthday. And I can't remember his whole quote but when Daisy was surprised to learn it was his birthday he said something about "When you get to be my age..." you don't make a big deal about it. LOL
  7. Atlanta Blue - The Statler Brothers While looking for Atlanta Blue on YouTube, I came across this song which I hadn't heard before but took a listen just because... The Blue Side of the Grey - Atlanta
  8. Wow, that's looking fantastic even at this stage! I love the photo of the inside of it...it almost looks real/life size!
  9. Welcome to HNet K-Duke! Unforutnately your poll's gonna be kinda skewed...I answered it assuming you meant where in the USA we live. LOL.
  10. That is one freakin' awesome lookin' truck!
  11. Hi Alex, Welcome to HNet. I've translated your message into English... Hi everyone! I'm Alexander, I'm new here in the Forum Hazzard Net. I'm a fan of The Dukes of Hazzard Taste of very beautiful actresses Catherine Bach and April Scott and actors John Schneider and Tom Wopat, because they are awesome! Thank you.
  12. I didn't, actually. But that grandpa playin' the xylophone woulda given Lionel Hampton a run for his money! LOL
  13. Keeping it country... Room Full of Roses - Mickey Gilley Agreed. The Memphis recordings from that period are some of his best!
  14. Stardust - Artie Shaw and His Orchestra
  15. I got 11 of 44. LOL I'm reminded of an old comedy record that my brother has that spoofed Jimmy Carter (and lo and behold, the darn thing is posted to YouTube. LOL) Ol' Jimmy has to have an interpreter for his meeting with the British Prime Minister...
  16. I believe Cooter's farm was located on Jessup Road. I also agree with Hoss for "Undercover Dukes" for the latest question.
  17. The Snowman's rig from Smokey and the Bandit I've always dug, especially with the way it was painted. But that tanker rig from "Duel"... GAAAHHH!! That rusting hulk was the scariest thing on the road! I'm impressed that somebody did a replica of it (along with the car).
  18. Elvira - The Oak Ridge Boys My my myyyyyyy Deliah! Why why whyyyy Deliah! (Man, he has a voice!)
  19. Hmm...I don't think Steve McGarrett's bada$$ black '68 Mercury Park Lane from the original Hawaii Five-0 made the list...
  20. The Chicken Pit! Good one Cap'n! "That guy just clucked at me!" ROFL The plucked chicken paint scheme was classic. Great additions to the list. I agree, the Hit Car shoulda been in there too. I think it was a '66 Charger tho'. And although the Hit Car only appeared in one episode of The Greatest American Hero, the '66 Charger was used a couple more times... ...as a Fed car for about five minutes, until it got torched... Oops, lookit that I posted another picture of You Know Who. ...and in another episode as a getaway car...
  21. Those of you who haven't signed up to receive our monthly when-we-think-of-it newsletter, you missed the big news of the latest in HNet shameless promotion! T-shirts!! (See now why you should sign up for the newsletter?) Yes, folks, after 12 years, we now have t-shirts that you can buy to show your HNet pride! We couldn't decide between doing a variation on our current logo or doing a variation on our original logo for the site from 12 years ago so we did both. (Problem solved!) A multitude of styles, colors and sizes are available to choose from (men's and women's) but here's the logos on good ol' fashioned plain white Ts... The shirts are produced through Zazzle.com and HNet staff obtained shirts to check the quality, which is very good. The particular style of shirt we selected were medium-weight 100% cotton Hanes t-shirts. Material will vary by shirt style (classic, baby doll, industrial), but we were impressed by the quality! Most of the money for the shirts goes to Zazzle, however, HNet can earn a couple of bucks on the sale of each shirt to keep the ol' stompin' grounds here up and running. Doing the shirts wouldn't have been possible without being able to re-create the logos (with slight variations) and we're especially thankful to Hoss for being kind enough to render the graphics for us. Thank you, Hoss! So check out HazzardNet's Zazzle store here! Show your HazzardNet pride and order your shirt today!
  22. Nice Hoss!! I was pleasantly surprised at the number of Trans Ams/Firebirds that made the list. (I woulda been verrrry disappointed if the Rockford Firebird had NOT made the list!). However, I was kinda surprised the red T/A from "Hooper" got on there. Thought I was the only one who knew of that movie. LOL.
