  1. Why are some people saying words and others full sentences? (Oh! see how I worked the question in?? hahaha)
  2. Wow Roger! Your a regular celebrity! haha. Thats awesome how things work that way
  3. fun times!

Yeah your right... things are fairly quiet around here... weird... *looks around*

  4. Just put a balloon in front of the 'e' and it'll all be good! haha It has worked before! They should come to Canada! That would be awesome... Specifically Alberta. I'd love to meet Jimmy and Ben
  5. Costello (I don't know why I thought of him but I did... haha)
  6. I think we can get that arranged.... What kid hasn't made a bow and arrow out of willow branches and at least one molotov cocktail in their lives?? hahaha
  7. oh... not a whole heck of a lot. Had a cow show last weekend, so I'm still kind of trying to recover from the late nights and early mornings. haha. My grad's coming up in two weeks, so trying to get things all organized for that, er, my mother is getting things organized... Too much stuff goes into grad anymore... I was just kinda planning on showing up and getting my scroll, but no such luck apparently... haha

Other than that, it has been pretty un-eventful. Just watching the crops come outta the ground and waiting to go to work cowboyin for the summer.

Hows about you guys? What have you been keepin busy at here lately? Hope you and your family's doing good!

  8. Bo 28 Luke 30 Jesse 28 Cooter 14 YAY LUKE!!! hahaha
  9. I retired my orange 1972 Ford F-150 to the bush... The radiator blew up and it needs new valves and the seals have gotta be going in him. I ain't got the cash to fix him up properly.. Now I'm driving a our truck we use for hauling things around the farm, a bright blue single cab 1997 Ford F-250 with a Duramax diesel. That thing barks! I love it! You always know where I am cause it's so loud! hahaha
  10. Me too! I got you guys in my prayers
  11. It was a Deere I believe... My 7140 is wayyy bigger than that one that Luke was driving tho. (and way better cause it ain't a Deere! hahaha... Deere's look good but I find are a pain to operate.) I'm attaching a pic of my 7140. Minus the silage chopper and high-dump, that thing is soooo fun! haha HAHAHA! We got a little '48 Massy that we have to pull out for such occasions! it is the funniest thing ever to watch this little tractor trying to pull a pick-up outta the mud! My neighbours have a David Brown that they make square bales with... Most every kid in the country started out learning how to run a tractor on that thing. Good memories... haha
  12. I love that movie!!! I own it on dvd, but I haven't watched in forever... I might just pop in in tonight and watch it!
  13. Oh i see... I think I know kinda where your talking now... Us Alberta farmers tend to ignore Ontario, the home of the Canadian government... hahaha.

Hope your family is safe and wasn't involved in anyway.

  14. cold. Had a bit of frost in the low ground when I woke up this mornin... NOT NICE!!!
  15. Thanks everyone! Glad to be back! hahaha... Well Roger I can't jump any of our tractors, (That I know of anyways...) but I CAN make our 7140 CaseIH drift around corners and spin round in circles pretty decently! lol
  16. hey! no I haven't heard.... where is that? haha... no wheres around here! lol

  17. Lynx (That's our old stud's name)
  18. Yeah... they could have made it better for sure
  19. Hey everybody... I know I haven't been on here for a while, but there's lots of reason! haha As many of you know, I love the farm more than anything. I live on our family farm that has been in the family for 100 years. My great-granddad was the first settler in this area, buying a 10 acre plot of land on the river bank. We still own the original homestead and have expanded the operation to over 3000 acres and 350 head of cattle. We had a big scare this spring and wound up almost losing the whole spread. My dad went from driving truck part time to full time, and my mom had to go back to work. I ended up juggling going to school and putting the crop in myself this year. Once I was done at home I went out to work running tractor for some of the other guys around. We managed to avoid catastrophe, (If just barely by the skin of our teeth) and managed to keep the farm! I can't thank God enough for helping us through this spring and thank you guys here on Hnet for your prayers these past few months. I really can't thank you guys enough. Things have finally settled down around here again and y'all will be seeing more of me!! YAY! haha
