  1. Roger,

You forgot to send a warning to everyone who gives you a private message. They need to be careful because when you get going, you get like Uncle Jesse, and there is not stopping either one of you!:p Just teasing! Well, kind of. :D Both of them feel that they have to teach the "young whipper-snappers" to up-hold values. Hats off to both!

    Have a great day everyone!

  3. I agree with Redneck. Being as I don't have cable, I couldn't watch it! Let me know, Roger, what it was about, and please include your comment, and anything else that goes along with it!

That's amazing, great work Uncle Jesse!:-P

  4. Okay, everyone...I'm dying to know how the mapmaking is coming! Are you doing the county or just the town? Are you a quarter, halfway, three-quarters, or more done? Do you have pictures? It sounds great!

  5. I just started scrapbooking, so I'm SO happy to see that you started this thread, Redneck! :)

Scrapbooking can be very pricey and overwhelming. So, you were so wise to pick up a little packet for prom. It will really help to not make it so overwhelming. Usually with a packet like that, it's somewhat easier to assemble. But, of course, I wouldn't recommending even starting it until you take photos. Take lots and lots of photos so you have plenty to look through.

I think once you get your pictures, you can take the page they gave you and lay it out. Spend time playing with where you want your pictures to go. There may be some cute stickers or cut-outs. Play around with the layout. I wouldn't glue anything down until you lay everything where you want it. You may need to purchase acid-free glue so it doens't ruin your photos. You may even want to write some stuff on your page/s about prom. Highlights, your favorite dance of the evening, who you went with, etc. Make it fun, and make it your own beautiful original! It's your scrapbook with your own ideas, so there is no wrong way to make this!

Also, check out a scrapbooking store. Sometimes they offer free beginner classes. Go to the library and look for some books on scrapbooking, it will help to get some ideas. Look at what you like and don't like.

Hopefully that helped you out and didn't scare you off! :) I only know a little about it, like I said, I'm just starting out. But, I'd be happy to help anyway that I can!

And, for you experts out there, I'd love to hear your advice, or even if you could post some of your pages, that would be wonderful!

    Have a great day!

  9. Ha! Ha! Roger, that is hilarious! I've been warning her about her psychological problems! :-P

No, really, good luck fixing your vehicle-you'll need all the help you can get. It needs a LOT of fixing up, but with all the smarts you have, you will probably fix it in no time!

  10. Hi CrazyHanzo!

Oh, goody! I'm the first person to post a message to you! I'm so glad that you found this place! Welcome to HazzardNet! This is such a great group of people, so I know you'll fit right in!

Oh, you are so lucky! That must be so neat to be able to build your own General Lee, I wish I could do that! Be sure to post pictures of your progress and update us on what's happening. I wish you lots of luck with that.

Again, welcome to the group! I hope that you stick around for a long time!

    Laura Duke:)

  11. Hi Val!

I remember you talking about it when I was chatting a few weeks ago. I was really interested in it, so I'm glad that you started posting about it, and letting me ask you some questions!

Are you going to be reading multiple stories at a time, or just one at a time?

How many times a week/ and how long do you plan on getting together a week?

I think it's great that you are starting a club on this. I've read a story, and it was great. So, I'm really thinking about joining the club!

    Laura Duke:)

  12. Wow! artykidd, thanks for the info. You are so smart!

What a great group of intelligent people there are on this site!;)

Oh, sorry, this is totally off topic, but I would like to insert it, hopefully all of you don't mind. But, you know what's really fun? Driving down country roads, turning up the "Dukes of Hazzard" theme song, and driving through a bunch of leaves that have fallen on the road. You see the Dukes do it all the time, why can't the rest of us? Don't forget to do some yelling: Yeehaww!

    Have a great day everyone!:-P

  13. Hey Everyone!

Great shows! And, great thread idea.

Redneck girl listed some of the ones that I like, and more! So, if you are wondering what I like, I like the old tv shows, except I haven't seen some of the shows Redneck listed. But, Redneck girl is my kind of friend, watching all the classics (Little House, MacGyver, The Waltons, etc.) as well as the classic actors (John Wayne).

    Laura Duke:D

  14. Yeehaww! I'm happy that you have the final season-but, in a way, it's sad to watch the final season. But, all the shows are very enjoyable, so you'll have a great time!

You could be right about that, maybe they did change it to one sided discs because there were so many problems with the two sided discs. Great thought!

  15. Hey Dixie,

Oh, please don't feel bad about posting this. Thank you for doing it! You were just bringing some news to us Duke's fans. And, everyone was just responding about how they felt. I don't think anyone is getting mad at one another (at least, that I'm aware of). We are all just putting our thoughts down for others to read. So, I really do admire you for posting this.

Everyone is going to have a different viewpoint on this, and that's normal. But, like I've said before, I have always admired this group because they are honest in how they feel about a subject manner, but yet so tactful in how they handle one another's differing viewpoints. Hats off to everyone here on HazzardNet and a giant YEEEEHAAAWWW! :p

Speaking of viewpoints.....I have some right now!8-) Yes, you are right, Dixie. I have heard that there are very small traces of drugs that can be found on dollar bills. But, I find it hard to believe that you could trace that on someone. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't 1.2 grams way too much to find on one individual dollar bill?

In a way, I'm kind of happy that it isn't hurting his career, but in a way I'm disapointed that more wasn't done with him. If someone else had drugs on them, wouldn't they be interrogated or something? Maybe he needs more punishment for the law, that just may force him to get the help that he probably needs.

Okay, well, I'm done for now. Thanks again, Dixie for posting this!

    Laura Duke:D

  16. Hey artykidd,

Wow! I LOVE that song! I'm glad that there are others out there who love it as much as I do. And, thanks so much for posting the lyrics, there were times that I didn't know what the lyrics were, and I often butchered them! :p

JESSI, so sorry you don't like the song, you're missing out! :p

    Laura Duke:D

  17. That's a shame that you can't return that season and get a new one. I know that I've had some skipping with my dvd's, but luckily, all I had to do was take it out of the dvd player and wipe off the dvd and the problem was solved. Keep us up to date on what happens! I hope that you will be able to afford buying season 5 so that you can watch it!

    Laura Duke:D

  18. Oh, wow! I just got done reading your dvd glitches, maninasuitcase. I feel so sorry for you, you sure have a lot of problems with your dvd's. I would just be so angered by all the problems, but you certainly are handling all of the problems like a pro-hats off to you. Or should I say, a great big yeehaww to you! :-P

I must admit, though. You only paid $12 for each of seasons 1-6? That price seems extremely low. Did you buy them second hand or something? I mean, by the time season 6 came around, they were about $30 at Wal-Mart. Did you get a great deal or a bad product?

I sure hope that your problems get solved with these dvd's soon. By the way, welcome to HazzardNet! I'm glad you found this place. Stick around, it's tons of fun!
