  1. Favorite DOH episode....hmmmm so many to choose from! Some of the more memorable ones Ive enjoyed, One Armed Bandits, The Ghost of General Lee....The one I was really looking forward to seeing on DVD was My Son, Bo Hogg. But again it is hard to chose, but I will tell you for sure one I wasnt fond of (besides Strange Visitor to Hazzard, someone had a little too much shine when they wrote that one). Honestly, Id have to say its Luke's Love Story. Despite the fact that Bo wrestling in oil is the highlight of that episode, just the way Luke came off in it really didnt set well with me. Of course that is just my opinion... LOL Jax
  2. Favorite Waylon Quote: "There's trouble and then theres trouble and the trouble with some trouble is at first...it dont look like trouble." I know Ive mentioned this before but it bears repeating! And besides, its an awesome line! LOL Jax
  3. In Heiress Daisy Duke, she doesnt hit her head and get amnesia, what happens is that she gets hypnotized into thinking shes someone else. Thats the difference between this episode and My Son, Bo Hogg. Still...theyre both good episodes, sort of like a what if situation. Jax
  4. He was the doctor in Double Sting, and the one that examined Cooter when Luke knocked him out in, And in this corner, Luke Duke... Here's his IMDB profile... http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0186498/ Jax
  5. Hey Gang-- I found out this evening about the death of a beloved character in the Dukes of Hazzard series.... Doc Petticord, the actor Patrick Cranshaw died on Wednesday in Texas. For more information on this story, here's the link: http://www.mortystv.com/cgi-bin/obits/cms-obits.pl?record=71 My deepest sympathies go out to his family. Jax

  9. Saw the new forums that you posted Jessi, and I'm sorry to say that I don't think its either bigger or better. I have to agree with both Darrell and LS3, why go somewhere else when everything I want is right here already at Hnet? Hnet has been not only my home but a lot of us DOH fans have called it home for a pretty long time and I personally don't see that changing anytime soon. So I have to ask....Why mess with perfection? LOL sorry Charlie, I'm staying right here! But I do wish you good luck! Jax
  10. You might be a Duke fan if... You have one blond son, and one brunette son and named them Bo and Luke .. or... you give birth to twin boys and name them Bo and Luke! ROFLMAO!! Jax

  12. Hey Brian! Saw the DOH movie special yesterday. And well... as you said, the car stunts look awesome, definitely worth the price of admission. Of course with the free ticket, thats covered! LOL. And I have to admit one line Jessica said sort of made me laugh the... those boys are going to get jailed and Ill have to go shake my hiney at someone. Talk about speaking truer words! LOL I hate to say this, but I think all of us are going to enjoy this movie in terms of the action and the car stunts. Lets face it, we wouldnt be DOH fans if we didnt like that kind of fun. But I think all of us are going to have to go into this movie pretending we dont know who the Dukes are. If we just go in to see two guys in a suped up car running around causing trouble, I think we'll survive this movie! LOL course this is just my opinion! Jax

  16. I have to throw in my two cents with everyone else here. I'm very glad the forums was able to come back intact, I know for awhile whether or not Hnet had been turned into a big pile of smoldering ash was a big concern! Some of us have been here since the beginning and seeing Hnet completely gone was very upsetting! Luckily, the gods of computer equipment and technology smiled on us and Hnet was restored. I also wish to thank the Moderators Three for their skill, their tech savvy and anything and everything else it took to bring everything back! *Standing ovation, many cheers and hearty applause!* Jax

  18. Sway-- Its not JUST that these two guys replaced Bo and Luke, though that certainly didn't help in my opinion. For one thing, John and Tom brought a sense of realism and emotion to their roles as Bo and Luke. You watched the two of them on the small screen and you COULD believe they were two good ol' boys from Georgia. You see Coy and Vance...these two came rolling into town like they owned the place and just slid into the General like it was theirs. I mean...watch the first episode again, Daisy doesnt even HUG her cousins that she hasnt seen in 6 years and when Jeb Stuart Duke showed up, she practically knocked him over with a hug. Coy and Vance just seems so... fluffy! Which is why I refer to them as the Twinkies...all fluff in the middle. So its not just that they were the "replacement" Dukes...they just dont seem to have much talent acting wise. Its like watching a pair of paper dolls that whip off their shirts at the first lame excuse. Ive been watching the episodes, and they arent that bad and the rest of the cast is just as good as ever, which is so far, the episodes only saving grace. Now I know that some folks are saying that if it wasnt for Coy and Vance, the Dukes might have been cancelled and theyre probably right about that. But at least when Jeb Stuart Duke showed up and Luke's long lost Brother Judd was in town, they seemed more three dimensional then Coy and Vance. Of course... this is all just my opinion. Jax

  25. Brian-- Hnet isnt the DOH place curious about the new Vice President. From articles I've read and messages left on CMT message boards, a lot of other DOH fans are wondering about CMT's choice as well. The "Slick" website disappeared pretty quick and so do did the website associated with the band that the new VP is involved with. Ive read posts where fans have pointed out the negative lyrics to the bands songs that pretty much were offensive to every group in this country. The fans also stated that the new VP is being paid a great deal of money to watch the Dukes and write blogs about them, yet his associations are morally questionble, rude, insulting...in a nutshell, anti-Duke. And as for opening the can of worms... I think DOH fans have a right to question the VP, especially the person representing such a loved show. And most especially when everything around this guy seems fishy. So by all means... grab a can opener. Jax
