  3. LOL...I'm not surprised that our local mechanic Tim would remember all the mechanical things that went wrong with the General. Hey Tim, were ballast resistors strictly something that were on Mopars?

Anyway, Alex, DoubleX and Daisy are all right about Big Ed. Alex has 52 in a row correct.

What's the phone number at the Duke Farm?

    A) Hazzard 321

    B) 867-5309

    C) 555-4047

    E) CNH 320

    F) Hazzard 587

Roger, Im still working on my database, what season did they mention the Dukes phone number?

There are a few episodes where Rosco is incognito: Days of Shine and Roses, To Catch a Duke and SkyBandits over Hazzard.

The boys have flipped the General Lee in: Find Loretta Lynn, Mrs. Rosco P Coltrane, Farewell Hazzard.

Congrats to all of you who answered correctly!

    Good Luck to you all!!

  6. Hey Gang!

I know I havent been around that often and for that Im sorry, that will change immediately!!! For instance, I have gathered up some general DOH knowledge questions that I will be posting slowly...a few at a time! These will cover the entire 7 year series run!! So lets get started!!! :-P

    1. Name the kinds of cookies that Bo hates.

    2. How many chairs are there around the Duke kitchen table?

    3. Name 3 places the boys have kept or stored their bows and arrows.

    4. Name 3 episodes in which Daisy wore tennis shoes.

    Good Luck!!

    Jax

    Hi Gang!

    Its answer time!!

Some of you were correct, Bo hates pecan cookies! Congrats to those of you that were correct! Now the second answer is there are 4, some of you were correct also but 5 or 6 would also have been accepted, after all the Dukes sometimes ate with company!

The boys kept their bows, in the General Lee's backseat, or trunk, the barn, the wall of the living room (Remember Mary Kaye's Baby). Now for the tough one, the 3 episodes Daisy wore tennis shoes:

    Office Daisy Duke

    The Boars Nest Bears

    Happy Birthday General Lee!!

Congrats again those that got right answers!

Now its time for some new questions!

What was Luke's rank in the Marines?

True or False. Both of the Duke boys own watches.

Name at least two episodes in which Rosco wears civilian clothes.

Name three episodes in which the boys have flipped General Lee.

Good luck to all of you!!

  7. Ok people here's the deal,

I'm going to Dukesfest and had this idea that at Dukesfest they could have a trivia between the Dukes cast, The Dukes being on one side and the Law on the other. I wrote into them and asked and they replied saying they loved the idea and want me to send them some questions!!!

Here's your chance for you guys to shine and for Hazzardnet to gain more publicity with the Dukes of Hazzad Cast. I need some questions, only two per person please. I dont know yet how many questions they want me to give, so that's the limit for now. Make them good but not too hard remembering they did this show 30 years back and probably haven't watched much of it since then. :) This is gonna be great, lets quiz that cast and see what they really know *grin*

My three questions are: (Yeah I added one cause I couldn't pick between the three)

    1. How many Duke cousins appeared over the seven seasons?

Answer: 7 - Bo, Luke, Daisy, Coy, Vance, Jeb Stuart and Judd Kane.

    2. How many deputies have there been over the seven seasons?

There were 7 deputies in total - Rosco (demoted to several times) Enos, Cletus, Bo, Luke and Daisy.

    3. Fill in the gap and name the character who said it: 'Bo! You got the IQ of a ________, a small one!'

You guys check these answers as well as others too. We need to know these are 100% accurate before I give them over. Come on guys, lets really quiz em.

    1. There are 8 Duke cousins.

    2. You forgot Wilbur Fudge and Emery Potter.

    3. Luke said to Bo, You have the IQ of a turnip, a small one in Swamp Molly after he blows up the outhouse

    Jax

  8. Hey Gang!

    3. What does Jesse cook for Bo and Luke’s homecoming?

    Hey Gang!

    Here are the answers!

    1. Boss, Rosco, Jesse, and Cooter

    2. A balloon mortgage payment

    3. Crawdad bisque and peach pie

    4. $7,500

    Thanks for playing!!

    Jax

  10. Everybody's right, it's gold.

    I'll have another question tomorrow.

To confirm Jessi's response to Lizzy.....

In "Return of the Ridge Raider's" (season 2) the town of Hazzard is said to be between the Duke Farm and Capitol City. This means that Capitol City is south of the Hazzard since the Dukes are north. On maps of Hazzard County shown on other episodes, Capitol City is not shown so this means that it lies south of the County line.

To see that the Dukes live north of Hazzard check out the episodes:

Farewell Hazzard (season 5) and Boss Behind Bars (season 6)

I do beleive its my turn for trivia Roger ... Ill have a season 5 question in two shakes!

    Jax

  11. So I finally get a chance to see the new Knight Rider. You all have done a wonderful job of telling the truth about what you saw, so when I decided to check out my recording of it, I wasnt sure what to expect. But I took the advice of a friend and decided to be open minded...

    Where to begin?

First off...I do love Ford...Ive owned many and my ultimate dream car that I will own is a Ford Mustang but...HOLY RUSTED METAL BATMAN!! Did Ford have to reduce itself to such pandering? Such shameless self promotion? How many closeups were there of the Cobra symbol? The wheels? The shape of the hood? The fins?? Holy Buckets! Hey Ford, you forgot to put the Ford logo on the back of Mike's leather jacket! And all the vehicles in the movie were 90% Ford! Geez we didnt need to have it ground into our skulls that Ford bought and paid for this movie. If I was to grade you Ford, it'd be an F. F FOR FORD!!!

    Moving along...

Sarah was all right, a little annoying, but not that bad. Though it sure took her long enough at the end to remember she had a big gun in her lap! Yes..firing a gun at the bad guys would help...

Mike was all right to. He did have some anger at the world, which did remind me of Michael Long in the pilot. Eh, he was okay but did he have to be the long lost son of Michael Knight?? Since when?? Michael Long was a loner and wanted to stay that way so no one else he loved got hurt or killed like his partner did in the pilot.

And what did Agent Rivai being a lesbian have to do with this? Not a darn thing except it did give NBC the chance to show its modern by having the daughter of legendary actor Sidney Poitier be a lesbian FBI agent? And you know speaking of that shes first Fed I ever saw that was spilling her guts to the local law, most FBIs operate on a "need to know" basis.

You didnt have to spill your guts to the Sheriff, Agent Rivai, the bad guys arent that bright. I mean theyre looking for a Mustang right when they lose one a purple one just happens to drive by! Yes, I admit changing colors is cool but hardly an effective tool to have. I mean, it reminded me of Ricky Ricardo, who couldnt recognize Lucy in a fake mustache, or Lois Lane not seeing Clark Kent is Superman because of his oh soooooo sophisticated glasses! The only cool part of KITT was his self-repair feature. Now that is something Bo and Luke could have used for the General!! LOL. Self repair is cool, paint jobs are handy if youre driving KITT on a date and you need him to match your outfit, but Im sorry Mustangs are too big to be effective chameleons.

Alas poor Val Kilmer...I saw where he was trying to go with the voice of KITT. But unlike William Daniels, his tone just didnt seem that humanistic. Val needs to keep KITT sounding more natural.

Poor David Hasselhoff. His messy divorce and problems with booze sure took their toll. He and old KITT had something in common, they were both a mess! But at least David wasnt lying in pieces all over some garage, unlike KITT. Poor KITT that part made me so sad to see him lying in pieces in the dark...

I did see a spark of hope at the end of this dark tunnel at the end of the movie. Things might be semi-decent if this does become a show but they need work. They get good writing, take Ford out of the equation and beefed up KITT. I mean old KITT could do everything except make coffee and cook meals!

This movie was pretty bad, but in comparison it wasnt as awful as The Hive with Tom Wopat. I'd take KITT the Chameleon over super smart alienistic ants with Luke Duke gone insane any day!! Ill be posting a review for The Hive on another thread...

Thank you kindly for your attention!

    Jax

  12. You're right DaisyMae, B.L. and Alex, it's the Duke Farm.

Alex and DoubleX are now tied with 27 in a row correct.

Well Min, I know Cooter picked up the guard but I don't know the answer to the other two. I think the prisoners were heading to Capitol City. Didn't they mention several different things when they told Cooter what they were having for dinner?...Crawdad bisque, ham, mashed potatoes and bisquits...just guessing

Sorry Roger, the only one that you got right was Cooter picking up the guard. Anyone else care to guess?

  13. Number 3 I think is The Treasure of Hazzard, like i1976 said.

Man...I'm stumped on 1 and 2. I can picture the scene for 1 but couldn't say what episode, tho' I think Kay is right and it's a C&V episode. But number 2 has me totally stumped. Hmmm...

    Where's Roger Duke? He'd know! :)

LOL Actually Roger and I share the trivia responsibilities around here...Thats not Treasure of Hazzard. It is a Coy and Vance one because the baddies lock Daisy in that little dynamite shed and then Coy and Vance get caught too...And yes all three are the same episode!!!

the name of that episode is...

*drum roll* Lawman of the Year!!!

    Season 5, episode, #3!!!

    *polishing trivia queen crown*

  14.

Okay Gang I cant let Roger have all the fun! Anyone want to try a couple of questions from Double Dukes?

Name two things Daisy did while Jesse worried about the boys.

    And one Megahard question:

What does Luke offer to share with Bo when they go off in search of their doubles??

    Good Luck Everyone! ;)

    Jax

Well looks like its answer time!

The two things Daisy did were shucking corn and washing Dixie. In the Double Dukes commentary Cathy mentions it right when they were watching that part in the episode.

The megahard question, what does Luke offer to share with Bo when they go in search of their doubles? His sandwich...

When the boys are told of the doubles, Luke is eating it...when they all decide to search Luke looks right at Bo and offers it to him...You see Bo take out his knife to cut it as he Luke and Cooter go out the door!

Thanks to all for playing the trivia... I'll have some new questions this weekend!

    Jax

  15. Hey Min, I'm working double shifts every day this week so when I get home, I don't want to think too much. (not to mention that I need sleep) I would appreciate it if you took over the rest of the week. I'll post more starting Saturday. Thanks. (give a hint the next day if nobody gets it)

No problem Roger! :) ! Now as for a hint...A hint for the two things that Daisy did is...Catherine talked about one of the things Daisy did in the commentary for that episode! Does that help ??

    Good Luck Everyone!

    Jax

  16. Alex has 20 in a row right. DoubleX had better log in more often because this thing is getting tight. (DX has 24)

Daney, Alex and DaisyMae are right about Donna Fargo.

Welcome back Min. It's great to see you post questions. If you don't mind, I'll keep the streaks from my questions seperate from yours. For example, if Alex misses a question you ask, I'm still going to say that his streak stands at 20 in a row correct. Does that sound good to you?

I'm not going to guess the megahard one but I think that Daisy might have finished taken something out of the oven and then hugged Uncle Jesse from behind as he was sitting on a kitchen chair.

Thanks Roger! Yes keep the streaks seperate if you want, thats fine!

As for your answers, I'm sorry Roger, thats not correct! Try again...anyone else want to guess the two things Daisy did while Jesse worried about the boys?

    Min

  17. Right Alex and Lori, it's Iron Mountain. Hey Min (or would you rather be called Jax, I can't remember.) it's going to be fun having you back on. Should we both post questions on the same day or should we alternate or what? We don't really have to have any system if you don't want to. I usually post questions and answers between 8 and 11 EST every night. It's going to be cool having someone else post trivia. It's not going to be as cool when folks find out how helpless I am on this end of a question. LOL

Here's one for everybody...In "Miss Tri-Counties" three counties were represented? Hazzard, Riverton and......Plainview OR Hatchapee?

Either name is fine Roger really...hmmmm maybe we can split up the week or just do alternate days or something...I mean it really doesnt matter theres plenty of trivia to go around :)

    Jax

  18. Welcome back Min. I've missed you.

Everybody got it right, she was a Baptist.

DoubleX has 22 in a row right and Alex has 7.

This bit of information was on more than one episode but it first came up on "Bad Day in Hazzard"

When driving from Hazzard to Chickasaw, what mountain do you need to go around before you are in CB range of being able to talk to someone in Chickasaw?

    A) Razorback Mountain

    B) Mount Vernon

    C) Iron Mountain

Thank you Roger! I can't let you have all the fun asking trivia questions now can I? ;)

    Jax
