  1. If I had to venture a guess, I'd say that Enos' family wasn't in Hazzard County then. But who really knows why Enos wasn't in it?
  2. Got a couple more: 'I've always been crazy' by Waylon Jennings 'Take me home country roads' by John Denver (Of course, ya have to substitute West Virginia for Georgia) 'Thank God I'm a Country Boy' by John Denver
  3. Fantastic! Magnificent! Wonderful! These are just a few descriptive words to discribe this! It was much more fun than the Hugh Jackman version of Oklahoma. Which, if you haven't seen it, you should never watch it, because it's just a waste of three hours of your life. You're right, Kansas is the most boring state in the Union. I have cousins that moved up there. So Kansas is the most boring state in the Union, but during the Civil War, Oklahoma was the most boring state in the Confederacy, it evens out.
  4. Right now, I'm listening to 'Lousiana Saturday Night' by Mel McDaniel. Oklahomans of the world unite!
  5. You're a genius! I loved it! I love Oklahoma! Maybe that's because I'm from Oklahoma and my family and I go and see it every summer. But anywho...
  6. It's in season 4. It's the second one on disk 5.
  7. Yes, I stayed for the whole movie. I saw it three times. And it still sucked. I mean sure, Johhny and Sean were hott. But if I wanted to watch hott guys run around in the General, I coulda stayed at home. All I was sayin' about the General was that they didn't need to have the construction workers vandalize it to explain why the doors don't open, it was a racecar, even in the movie it said that Bo had won the race four times in a row which means that even before the construction workers vandalized it it would've been a racecar, and the doors on a racecar are welded shut. They don't open. I mean, I'm sure it would've been wonderful if I had never seen the show before, and I didn't know things like that. But I have and I do. Maybe it's just me but the fact that they used the doors in the movie really bothered me. Is it just me, or is there anybody else out there that it bothered? And the everybody was just so out of character. I mean the only person who was even kind of like the original character was Cooter. It just dosen't do the show justice. It's not a positive reflection, that's all I'm saying.
  8. Favorite song? 'Come a little Closer' by Dierks Bentley Come a little closer baby I feel like layin’ you down an a bed of sweet surrender where we can work it all out there ain't nothin that love can't fix girl it's right here at our finger tips so come a little closer baby I feel like layin’ you down some a little closer baby I feel like lettin go of everything that stand between us and the love we used to know I wanna touch you like a crimson robe and let it wash all you hurt away so come a little closer baby I feel like lettin’ go if there's still a chance than take my hand and we'll steal away off into the night until we make things right the sun's gonna rise, on a better day come a little closer baby I feel like strippin’ it down back to the basics of you and me and what makes the world go round every inch of you across my skin I wanna be stronger than we've ever been so come a little closer baby I feel like strippin’ it down come a little closer baby just a little bit closer baby come a little closer baby I feel like layin’ you down But we all know that this is one of the greatest songs ever written: 'What was I thinkin'?' by Dierks Bentley. And we all know the reason why it rocks! (See huge yellow font below) Well, Becky was a beauty from south Alabama. Her Daddy had a heart like a nine pound hammer. Think he even did a little time in the slammer. What was I thinkin'? She snuck out one night an' met me by the front gate, Her Daddy came out a-wavin' that 12-guage We tore out the drive, he peppered my tailgate. What was I thinkin'? Oh, I knew there'd be hell to pay. But that crossed my mind a little too late. 'Cause I was thinkin' 'bout a little white tank top, Sittin' right there in the middle by me. An' I was thinkin' 'bout a long kiss, Man, just gotta get goin', where the night might lead. I know what I was feelin', But what was I thinkin'? What was I thinkin'? By the County line, the cops were nippin' on our heels, Pulled off the road an' kicked it in four-wheel. Shut off the lights an' tore through a cornfield. What was I thinkin'? At the other side, she was hollerin': "Faster." Took a dirt road, had the radio blastin'. Hit the honky-tonk for a little close dancin'. When a mountain of a man with a "Born To Kill" tattoo, Tried to cut in, I knocked out his front tooth. We ran outside, hood slidin' like Bo Duke. What was I thinkin'? I finally got her home at a half past two, later. Daddy's in a long chair sittin' on the driveway, Put it in park as he started my way. What was I thinkin'? Oh, what was I thinkin'? Oh, what was I thinkin'? Then she gave a "Come an' get me grin." An' like a bullet, we were gone again. 'Cause I was thinkin' 'bout a little white tank top, Sittin' right there in the middle by me. An' I was thinkin' 'bout a long kiss, Man, just gotta get goin' where the night might lead. I know what I was feelin', But what was I thinkin'? What was I thinkin'? I know what I was feelin', but what was I thinkin'? ---------------------------- I mean, how could anyone not love a song that mentions Bo?
  9. How about: 'As good as I once was' by Toby Keith. (I mean come on, it's perfect for the boys in their older years) 'Against the grain' By Garth Brooks 'Friends in low places' (cause they do have some friends in low places.) By Garth Brooks 'American Honky Tonk Bar Association' (It's just a great Bar song) Also by Garth Brooks. 'Country by the Grace of God' by Chris Cagle 'The Chicks dig it' By Chris Cagle (Self explanitory) 'My Town' By Montgomery Gentry (I think it'd be a good explanation of how the boys feel about Hazzard.) 'Here I go again' By Whitesnake
  10. The Dukes movie was no where near as good as I thought it was gonna be. I mean, Willie Nelson wasn't playing Uncle Jesse, he was playin' Willie Nelson. Uncle Jesse would never have made all those stupid jokes or smoked pot at the end. Willie Nelson on the other hand does that sort of stuff. Isn't the point of acting to play somebody else, not yourself? Boss and Roscoe seemed a little too sinister. And a skinny Boss? What were they thinking? And Burt Reynolds as Boss? It just doesn't work, I mean Burt Reynold is The Bandit. You can't have the Bandit play Boss Hogg, because they talk about the bandit on the show, it just doesn't work. And Daisy? Well, don't even get me started on Daisy. I mean, her jeep didn't even say 'Dixie'. Oh, and another thing, they were still runnin' 'shine in the movie, that ain't right either. It wasn't a positive reflection upon the show we all know and love. Of course all those things can be ignored but this one cannot. They broke the Cardinal Rule; they used the doors on the General. Everybody knows the doors on the General don't open. They didn't have to come up with a reason, just have the Balladeer say it like Waylon did on the show. I mean even people who didn't watch the show know that the doors don't open! I wanted to jump up and down and yell at the moviescreen when I saw that. It just ain't right. Like I said, it wasn't a positive reflection upon the show. And you can't say that I went into the theatre with the mindset that I was gonna hate it, cause I went and saw it twice and it still was no where near as good as the show
