  1. Someone on Ebay was selling a tape with all the cartoon episodes on it, but I agree they should bring it out on DVD...
  2. Once is enough, I'll rent it or maybe buy it when it comes out.
  3. This week in came in third making $13,030,000, with a totla gross of $57,478,000 so far.

It's the episode where they celebrate Stewie's first birthday, it's called "Chitty Chitty Death Bang". I have to check out the episode you mentiond, sounds hilarious =)

  8. Okay, what's with the three guys in the smokehouse at the end? Or do we want to know? They were smoking marijuana.

  10. Someone on the Dukes Yahoo Group had this to say about the film So I saw the movie tonight as a Sneak Preview... I must say it is a darn fine flick. There's action, lots of comedy, and crazy ol' car stunts. But there is a problem. There's no "Duke" charm. None, Zip. Zilch. IT doesn't capture the good heartedness of the original. And yes, that PG-13 is a strong PG-13 rating. There's no if, ands, or buts about it. The reason I liked it is due to the fact that I have separated it from the Duke world we all know and love. It's a spoof. And in my book, spoofs don't count. Read my problems in detail below if you so desire. -Stephen "Fechez la vache!" **********************SPOILER ALERT********************************** **********************SPOILER ALERT********************************** **********************SPOILER ALERT********************************** **********************SPOILER ALERT********************************** I see where Ben Jones is coming from with his open letter on his site. It's full of sexual overtones, undertones and in-between tones. There is pot smoking going on...you never see the Duke boys actually do it, but it's imlpied. Uncle Jesse tells some pretty bad (but hilarious) jokes. There's a whole lot of Willie Nelson in this version of Jesse (yup, pot there too). Now from TV to the big screen, there are other problems as well. There is no comedic stylings between Boss and Rosco. It's a shame. That was one of the parts of the show that helped it along. Rosco is more scared of Boss instead of being his "little fat buddy." Daisy is always used as a distaction in bikinis and other tight fitting assortments rather than being part of the clan. Cooter is no where crazy enough, Uncle Jesse is still making moonshine, and the boys are running it! My favorite translation to movie was Enos, the character was pulled off perfectly. Oh, and by the way, what would be the purpose of using call names on a CEL PHONE?!? Yeah, the CB is used a couple of times, but the Dukes have a dang phone! The best thing is that all jumps/stunts were real. It seems there's one scene where computers were used to digitally insert Sean William Scott into a high flying General, but that's it! Yee-Haa!! This ain't going to be the good ol boys we use to know.
