  1. I'm with ya on that scene from High Octane with the match. I've always loved that scene and I'm not sure why. I'm sure it has something to do with Bo though. I really like the scene in Carnival of Thrills when Bo and Luke finally make up and they're in the General Lee getting ready to make the jump and Luke says something about he's glad he's there and Bo looks at him and says I'm glad you're here too and it's just sweet and I love it. Awww! Oh and in Dear Diary when Luke and Bo do the shuck n' jive where they're fighting over the diary and Bo knocks Luke out the door of Boss' office and Luke's like you're over acting and Bo's like oh sorry. I just like to watch them fight whether they're pretending like in this instance or in Carnival of Thrills when they fight for real cause then you get to see them make up and it's sweet.
  2. I was yelling about the same thing when I heard them use it for the first time. I was like BUT THEY AREN'T THE LOST SHEEP and everyone told me to shut up and quit whining about Coy and Vance. It also bothers me when Coy yells Yee Hoo because Bo/John always did that instead of Yee Haa.

  4. I don't know if Bo ever said that. I know the balladeer is said it at least once. And on the first season special feature BBQ reunion John Schneider says it when he's telling about a story where he was being towed in the camera car in Georgia when it was raining and the car kept going in the ditches because it was so slick.

  6. Does anyone know if they plan on releasing the most recent Dukes game Return of the General Lee for PC? I'd love to play it but I don't have a gaming system and don't plan on getting one to play one game.

  8. They're showing the season that John was a regular on now on the Hallmark channel @ 8am (that's central time) if anyone is interested. I've been watching and he does a good job, per usual. I really like the cowboy look.

  10. I've been listening to John's stuff a lot lately and decided to give Tom a listen too. After listening to both his newer stuff and his older stuff I'd have to say I prefer the older more country sounding stuff to his newer swing/jazzy sound. I really love his songs "Too Many Honky Tonks" and "A Little Bit Closer" and I still love his rendition of "Up On Cripple Creek" off the Dukes Soundtrack. Not that his newer stuff isn't good... I just prefer the country sound but that's just my prefrence.

  12. What it all comes down to is that folks just don’t like change. Picture this, Byron Cherry and Christopher Mayer being cast as Bo and Luke all along or perhaps Coy and Vance being the original cousins and leaving only to be replaced by their cousins Bo and Luke played by John and Tom… wouldn’t we have had the same reaction to them that many people have to Coy and Vance?

  14. I'm with ya on that one. For every Coy and Vance episode they show on CMT I'll be watching a fabulous Bo and Luke episode instead.

  16. You can find the lyrics to the song on this site: http://fan.little-moments.net/john/ It's mainly a John Schneider site but if you click on lyrics under all John's albums it says 'lyrics to songs not on an album' and it's listed there.

  18. Is this the only episode where one of the boys is missing... not counting of course all the Coy and Vance episodes where they are both gone. I'm just curious, I think it'd be neat to see Bo on his own considering he's usually so dependent on Luke to think up plans to get them out of trouble.
  19. I believe right now that DVD is only availble at Wal-Mart... maybe they plan on releasing it everywhere else on that day.
  20. Actually I think it could very well be from Mr. Jones. When I went to Dukesfest they had an article in the local paper about what he thought about the film and he said a lot of the very same things mentioned in the above post. He mentioned how the movie people didn't want anything to do with the original creators or cast of the show even though he and others have tried to contact them and get involved and went on to say when they asked him if they could participate in Dukesfest this year he told them no saying if they didn't want anything to do with them, they didn't want anything to do with them. Personally I will probably end up watching the movie in the long run after it comes out on DVD or something just to see what they did, but as of right now I have absolutely no desire to see the film when it comes to theaters and that has nothing to do with Mr. Jones letter that's my own personal decision because I don't like what I've seen about the movie so far. And while I agree completely with what Mr. Jones says about the film and how they've degraded and even mocked the show we all love, I don't think it's necessarily fair for him to tell people not to go. Edited to say that if you go to the Cooter's Place website you can read the exact post dukesran1 posted here: http://www.cootersplace.com/news_movie.asp so it is legit.
  21. I know we all wish we were crusing around in a General Lee but most of us ain't that lucky. So I'm curious what does everyone actually drive. I drive a 2001 black Mercury Cougar... I named her Ledi. She's a 5 speed... I hate automatics (no offense to anyone, but they just ain't as much fun) got a V6 2.5 liter, a sunroof and 6 disc in dash CD changer. She's my third car, I bought her used with about 38,000 miles on her, before I had a 1996 green Pontiac Sunfire named Sway which eventually just gave out and a 2002 navy blue Chevy Cavilier named Jesse which I totalled out. She's nothing special by any means but she's been good to me and I love her. Pictures (if anyone cares) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v280/Sway4829/Ledi/ledi01.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v280/Sway4829/Ledi/ledi02.jpg Your turn...
  22. I had a problem with Jeb Stuart Duke in "Along Came A Duke". I can't really explain it he just annoyed me. And I was truely upset with Luke when he called him his favorite boy cousin... or was it his favorite blonde cousin... either way BAH. And when he was driving Daisy's jeep in a getaway... thank God it wasn't the General or I would have been even more upset. Also Diane in "Carnival of Thrills" but I don't think I need to explain that one.
  23. Currently listening to He's Back In Texas by none other than John Schneider. I just can't get enough of his stuff lately.
