  1. I believe it was the Home Depot's idea to replace/get rid of him. John sends out a newsletter every once in awhile to people who have bought things at his online store and he said he hasn't heard from them in awhile so he assumes they have terminated him as their spokesperson. He also said he's been reading for other companies so we may find him the spokesperson of something else soon.

  2. I went to Dukesfest this year and there was an article in one of the local papers that said the movie people tried to get in on Dukesfest this year and Ben Jones wasn't having it. Something about if they didn't want to have anything to do with the original show/cast, why should he allow them to come and promote their movie. I don't remember exactly what it said but something very similar so I really, REALLY doubt the cast of the movie will ever be invited to a Dukesfest.

  4. Bo: He had to go to jail, Luke. It's the only way he could see his mama.

Actually that's Luke's line. Bo says something like, "hey Willy, when'd you get out of jail son." and then Luke says, "he had to go to jail Bo. That's the only way he could see his mama." I was just watching that episode today... it's one of my faves. :)

  6. PG-13 is the rating every movie in Hollywood is going for. It's edgey enough to make everyone happy without suffering of having an R rating which would alienate the 17 and under crowd which this movie is really geared toward.

By the way, AMERICAN PIE was PG-13 and look at all the scenes in that movie that should have made it an R flick!

I don't know where you're from but American Pie was rated R around here.

I'm not surprised with the rating all the other TV shows made into movies lately are rated PG-13... Starkey & Hutch, Bewitched, etc.

  8. I'm with ya on that scene from High Octane with the match. I've always loved that scene and I'm not sure why. I'm sure it has something to do with Bo though.

I really like the scene in Carnival of Thrills when Bo and Luke finally make up and they're in the General Lee getting ready to make the jump and Luke says something about he's glad he's there and Bo looks at him and says I'm glad you're here too and it's just sweet and I love it. Awww!

Oh and in Dear Diary when Luke and Bo do the shuck n' jive where they're fighting over the diary and Bo knocks Luke out the door of Boss' office and Luke's like you're over acting and Bo's like oh sorry. I just like to watch them fight whether they're pretending like in this instance or in Carnival of Thrills when they fight for real cause then you get to see them make up and it's sweet.
