  1. My Name is Andrew. I am 43 years old. I am also a post 9/11 U.S. Navy Veteran. I served from May 2003 to April of 2007. I loved Dukes of Hazzard since I started watching it at a fairly young age. I loved watching DoH and Three's Company. Please pardon me for bringing up another show. Anyway, I do it my best to live my life by at least one of Uncle Jesse's famous quotes. At least along DoH fans like us. He said, "A stranger is just a friend I have no met yet." I live in Southern California. So out here I have to use tact. of course. Probably more so than I would like. Meaning I wish I did live in a place where more and more people saw us as fellow Americans. And not in our liberalized categories. White/Black, Straight/Gay and or Male or Female. I cannot stand all that bull sh_t myself. I am part of the Human Race. And my skin color is what it is because God picked it for me. And I know I had nothing to do with that choice. I do, however, have the choice as to how I treat others and I have the choice how I conduct myself. Sorry for getting on a little bit of a soap box. I just feel much more comfortable to say how I truly feel. Reminds me of Frank Sinatra's song, My Way. And I found this message board/website since I just spent $99.99 on the entire serious streaming on Youtube. Thank you to all of you who took the time to read this. I truly and honestly look forward to getting to know about all of you.

    Daisy's Cars

This may have been posted before, but as I was looking at the page that shows all the cars used by characters in the show, I noticed there was some inaccuracies when it came to Daisy's cars. True, she started out the show with a yellow 1973/74 Plymouth Road Runner...but the story goes, when parts became too difficult to find to repair the few they had on the show, they switched to a 1971 Plymouth Satellite Sebring...painted with the Road Runner paint scheme. So, the '71 she used was actually a Satellite, and not a Road Runner. Just FYI. What I don't understand though, is in 1979 a '74 vehicle would have only been 5 years old...you're telling me that barely five years later Chrysler wouldn't have replacement parts for one of their vehicles? Just seems a little strange to me. But, maybe the parts were actually too expensive to continually order...and parts for the Satellite were cheaper for a while. Just a thought.

Gilligan:"I just saw a ghost out there!"(pointing to door/window of hut)Skipper:"Oh, for goodness sakes Gilligan. You didn't wake me up out of a sound sleep to tell me about your nightmare?" Gilligan:"Then, I saw a real dead ghost, and he ran that way."(pointing to the direction the ghost ran in)Skipper:"Well, if he was dead, how come he was running that way?" NASCAR news

Another hijack of the thread for a belated tribute. On March 16th we lost German racing driver Sabine Schmitz after a four year battle with cancer. She was just 51. Despite having a successful racing career, it was her first appearance on 'Top Gear' that brought the "Queen of the Nürburgring" to a worldwide audience. The Nürburgring is a 12.9 mile track with 147 corners that's located in the middle of a German forest. Sabine was born there and knew the track better than anyone. Here's the Top Gear Special tribute which aired last night. It includes contributions from TG presenters old and new as well as a variety of people from the world of motorsport.
